  • I have the same cpu and mobo. Do you think it's possible to overclock it to 3.0 ghz?

  • @Iznogoud95 Yes, that would not be a problem.

  • @GizmoDrifter Overclocking isn't harm for PC in my opinion, just need do it correct way. And I have no experience with your mobo and please check with your BIOS settings, if it supports OC.

  • @nuwaus Thank you!

  • hi, I managed to go from 3.22ghz 2.20GHz without any modification to the PC, just overclocked hehe

  • hi bro, did u get any problem after overclocking

  • @95oakash No I didn't get any problems or side effects... It was last long...

  • hi bro, did you overclock to 2.8ghz with stock fan?

  • @SAFFY7411 Yes, It was with stock fan, but I had some fans in casing too...

  • @mrmrgameboy1998 40c when fully loaded is totally okay. After overclocked some processors go upto like 80c.

That's what we need better cooling system, if plan to overclock.

  • hey what about mine i have a intel e2200, socket 775 lga, stock cooler, transcen 1gbx2 664 mhz ram,a mercury pig31z motherboard and no graphic card currently. plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz reply

  • @mrmrgameboy1998 If your motherboard support overclocking, I think you can overclock your processor.

  • @nuwaus plzzzzzzzzzzzzz tell me if its supports beacuse i have no idea and i dont want to take any risk plz reply

  • @mrmrgameboy1998 Well, Overclocking actually is a risk and you should take it on your own.

and manufacturers says warranty avoid if overclocked. And also possibilities for overclocking depends on what BIOS your motherboard has. Some motherboard has built in automatic easy overclocking features and some should overclock 100% manually and some are 100% does not support for overclocking. So please check your BOIS to see if you can overclock or not.

  • @nuwaus hey what if my e2200 temp is max 40 degrees at full load how much can i take the temps max while overcloking im a begginer in overclocking so plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help.

  • I have the same Intel Dual Core E2200 but i don't have the configuration like on your video. So does it mean i can't overclock my processor???

Is there any way where i can overclock it?

And is there a big difference between 2.2Ghz and 2.8Ghz when it comes to gaming?

Also, do you need to change your regular processor fun into a bulky cooling system since it'll generate more heat? Or a regular fan will do.

    Thanks!!!!

  • @alfredkyo Overclocking should support by Motherboard too. Some Motherboard does not support processor overclocking feature. So first make sure your Motherboard support processor overclocking. And overclocking from 2.2 to 2.8 effects some considerable amount for gaming. And yes it's recommended to use a better cooling system if you are overclocking as it generate more heat. But here I have still stick to default processor fan :D

  • i'm just overclocking my e2200 to 2.6Ghz with stock fan

  • i can overlock this processor only to 2,42ghz

    (ga-g31m-s2l)

  • @MrErjavec

    not any more

i can go to 3ghz, but i'm happy with 2,8ghz

  • can u tell at which temp that cpu started damaged??

  • @SkulLzSouL Try to keep it under 65c,

then you won't be face any trouble.

  • First check if your motherboard support for over clocking, and if so please follow the video.

the overclocking process will be changed due to different bois versions and types.

  • how to chck my Mobo support overclocking?

    MY MOBO IS

    INTEL DG31pr

  • How'd you do it?

I've got an E2200 CPU as well and I want to OC it to 2.3.
