  • They ignore the fact that most whites in the south DID NOT live this lavish lifestyle. LOl!! They lived lives more closely resembling working blacks of the south and they co-mingled pretty closely with blacks in the south. The "aristocracy" of the south created nothing notable.

  • "Mammy" -- racist term.

  • Notice at 2:12 where both the black and the white boy have one hand tucked into their shirts. That's a Freemason pose. Hmmm...interesting...

  • @OZRIC1985 That is actually a common misconception.

The pose comes from the 19th century neo-Classical fashion in portraiture: an imitation of Roman rhetorical postures. This is more a reasonable hypothesis since blacks were not admitted into Freemasonry in the southern states until very recently (discounting Prince Hall order).

A well known non-Mason who utilised this pose was Karl Marx.

  • @OZRIC1985 Not to mention the fact that they would be too young.

  • I'm actually nauseated by Stoney and the "Southern belles." Do they even realize the human toll and suffering caused by slavery? They are either ignorant of that or simply do not care, and I don't know which is worse.
