  • Thank you for uploading this, yo amo a este hombre!!! I woluld like to be his Spanish teacher but I don't think he needs one, he's brilliant!!

  • His sneeze is funny xD

  • why is he sick? does it mean anything?

  • I need this DVD :(

  • where i can watch the movie?

    thanks!

    loving Alan *_*

  • @killuaNDmugiwara Well you can either buy the movie online (it's available on Amazon), or if you're not keen on that, give it a search on Google and download it, I'm pretty sure it must be out there somewhere a torrent with the movie. Anyway, good luck.

  • @corinarickman Thanks! :D

  • @killuaNDmugiwara I have it on DVD, bought very cheap on Amazon. Also a director's voice-over by the late Anthony Minghella.

  • @killuaNDmugiwara It's been out on DVD for a long time; I bought mine very cheaply on Amazon. Wonderful director's voice-over, too, from the late Anthony Minghella.

  • Alan is my dream!

  • Good Lord!!, his accent really is terrible :S but still, enchanting :) (he has some problems with his r, he pronounces it like in frech, because he is british maybe.. ?) awesome! :D the poem is "La Muerta" by Pablo Neruda (..)perdóname. Si tú no vives, si tú, querida, amor mío, si tú te has muerto, todas las hojas caerán en mi pecho, lloverá sobre mi alma noche y día, mis pies querrán marchar hacia donde tú duermes, pero seguiré vivo (...)
  • @aLexFongPrettyGirL he hasn't got any problem with the R. You must see the Dickman video, where he answer Rrrrrickman. And he doesn't pronounce the R letter like in French. He only does a soft R everywhere. He says "queRán" instead of "queRRán". He probably doesn't know the fonetic rules. It's a common mistake in peolpe who learn Spanish in a self-taugh way. They don't know when they had to pronunce a strong R and when a soft R. And of course he has a huge British accent. But's he's so sweet!

  • Alan hablando español es genial!!!!!! Me encanta!!!!!!

  • I for got how sad and real this film was. real I cried through the hole thing but it was so beautiful too!

  • Alan rickman is sooo sexy <333

  • Im crying now.. and cry everytime i watch this!!! ALAN RICKMAN IS SO AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL. and i LOVE juliet stevenson! :D

  • me encanta esta película!!!....es maravillosa,...todos deberían verla!!!

  • me encanta esta película!!!....es maravillosa,...todos deberían verla!!!

  • Such a nice sneeze...

  • ah, to find someone who feels Neruda

  • I absolutely love this movie, but I don't watch it often because I own the British version of the DVD. So everytime I watch it I have to change the country on my DVD player. Nonetheless, one of my absolute favorite movies with Alan. Such a beautiful actor <3

  • @drummerchick24 You have it on British DVD?!?!?!?! Wherever from?!?!?! :O

  • @ThePag09 I bought it on eBay I think. It was in PAL format (which is what they use over there) instead of NTSC (which is what we use here in the US!)

  • Hey thanks for putting this up I love to watch Alan Rickman in this clip He's so hansome, charming, and sweet in this clip! I wish I could just find this film and watch it!

  • one of my favorites movie.. somebody knows the last song or pieces when all the ghost are in the window watching at nina ??? love that piece who compose it? sorry for the crappy english

  • The first time I saw this clip I just about melted when Alan Rickman spoke spainish oh my goodness when Alan Rickman does the poem it's truely beautiful. His voice is so soft..so beautiful that it's truely amazing!

  • this bit always makes me cry, even now. I love this movie and how though it makes me cry more then any other, it is not a sad film.

  • such a nice scene.

  • tearing up

  • oh my god, that really got me tearing up.

  • poor alan or jamie as i should call him.

  • The poem is "La Muerta (The Dead Woman)" by Pablo Neruda ;) and this movie is just great:)))

  • One of the most beautiful moments I have ever seen in a movie. Thank you for posting this.

  • I truely madly deeply love this movie.

  • i didn't know that ghosts could sneeze.

  • the movie is so touching and honest. I love it really, but it make me also sooo sad, because she missed him so much and later, when he is back she recognized, that much of her feelings are only constructs she created after his death.

oh, it is so great: "Do you want me to go?" Linda: No, never, never, never!"

  • @83annak that is true what she is feeling toward him when he is a ghost is what she wanted to thinkof him as. thiswhole knew perception that she wants to believe that she created in her mind. I mean as much s sh loved him when he was was alive and even now as a ghost is her way of making it quite flowery. sorry if this doesn't make sense but I know what I am trying to say.

  • this part is really sad..both of them did really really well in this movie

  • it's just so good. makes me cry every time!

  • If you hunt around Amazon and Ebay, you can sometimes find used VHS copies of it. That's about the best option for finding this great movie anymore.

  • Why does he remind me of Drop Dead Fred in the beginning?

  • He. Is. So. Hot.

    :P......

  • i wish i spoke spanish so i could tell how well he is saying it.

also i think it would be even more powerful if i could understand him :)

  • his accent IS terrible :p but I would love to hear him recite Neruda anytime

Su acento es terrible, pero encantador a la vez.

Si es que... quien nace sexy... ;)

  • T___T I am still on my quest to find this movie...

  • Hello,Amazon sells it, but it is very expense, Says the manufacturer discontinued it.

  • im in the process of uploading it..

  • (L) i love his voice

  • I don't know why, but for some reason his voice in this sounds different than it usually does.

  • Either because he was younger, or maybe because he was speaking Spanish.. And that makes his voice seem a little different... :-??

  • @Jovrjo i think its because he's supposed to sounds congested

  • he makes me wanna speak spanish. and i do not at all want to.

i did not expect someone with a British accent to make spanish sound.. HOT

the poem is La Muerta (The Dead Woman) by Pablo Neruda - it's from his collection called "The Captain's Verses"

  • aww i havent even seen the movie an dim getting misty from this

i love how hes sitting, like a little kid

  • I love this poem, does anyone know the name of it and where an English translation of it can be found?

  • part 1

If suddenly you do not exist,

if suddenly you no longer live, i shall live on.

i do not dare, i do not dare to write it, if you die.

i shall live on. for where a man has no voice, there is my voice.

Where blacks are beaten, I cannont be dead. where my brothers go to prison, i shall go with them.

when victory, not my victory, but the great victory comes, even though i am mute i must speak; i shall see it come even though i am blind

  • part 2

    Forgive me

if you no longer live, if you beloved have died,

all the leaves will fall on my breast, it will rain all night and day,

the snow will burn my heart, i shall walk with frost and fire and snow,

my feet will wont to walk to where you are sleeping, but i must go on living,

because above all things you wanted me indomitable, and my love, because you know that i am not only a man, but all mankind.

    appologise for mistakes in translation

  • does anyone know if there is a copy of the full script online?

  • i love this film its one of my favourit, i cry every time i watch it

  • y cnt she remember her firt night?

  • She can remember her first night with him. But she wants Rickman to tell it so they can remember it together, and cut through his anger to a place where they can discuss the new emotions she's feeling, which are huge.

  • i love the way he says "component"....

  • Could you please upload the entire film? That would be wonderful!

  • I love Alan, but his Spanish pronounciation is horrible xD

  • Wow. You know your blindly obsessed with a man when you think even sneezing, complaining, rummaging around in his pockets, and detailed descriptions of anything are extremely sexy when done by him! *SQUEEEEEE!!!*

  • I wanna watch this now. lol

  • This is my favorite movie. It makes me think of my best friends father. His wife just passed away a year ago, and sometimes I like to think she'll come back and tell him "It's okay to fall in love again".

I mean, that's why Alan Rickman came back in this, and it's just a really nice thought that the afterlife is that forgving and loving :)

I'm corny, but it's just something I like to think about

  • colecizj . easyvserver . com/psnermu1 . htm

  • Where can i find this movie?

  • I'm uploading :o)

  • I Truly Madly Deeply Love u ALAN Rickman

    mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmowah

    :)

  • The poem is "La Muerta", by Pablo Neruda. This movie introduced me to Neruda, prompted me to want to start practicing Spanish again (I was living in Singapore), and then through a series of happy accidents, led me to some of my dearest friends and greatest adventures. Thank you SO, SO, MUCH for posting it.

  • This seems to be a fantastic film. I know Anthony Minghella´s movie *The English Patient* and I loved it. He was such a great film-maker...=(

  • Anthony Minghella's first!!!! film. He was such an amazing talent, taken from us much too soon.

  • Even when he's sneezing, he's so adorable.

  • I only watched this recently and I simply ADORED the sneezes!! I thought it was just me..!

  • This poem made me want to learn Spanish...

  • Oh God!!! Thanks for uploading this one...My heart just wants to scream!!!

  • lloro con esta pelicula es lo mejor que ay...

gosht es un chiste al lado de esta pelicula tan maravillosa..

  • Love this film. I have never cried as much whilst watching a film unless I watch this film.

  • I fell in love with Alan when I first saw this film and this is my favourite bit. Thanks so much. I'm crying...as always!

  • your username gives me nice thoughts;-)

  • LOL :)

  • I think I love Alan Rickman a litle too much.

    haha :)

    nice vid

  • You can never love Alan a little too much; he comes up with something to surprise you every time, making us all fall even deeper in love with him/ :)

  • omg... alan speaking spanish! he's not great at it, certainly, but it makes him even sweeter than what he actually is!!

  • Trust me, I am no cryer of movies...but this was seriously tear jerking. They are both excellent at acting, and so much emotion is put forth. The poem was beautiful, and the last couple seconds of the clip where she says "never, never, never" you can feel the desperation. This is so beautiful.

  • OH MY GOD

I love this film. I gonna buy it soon. Oh my god...look at Alan...he is so...I could die...

  • man I love his vioce. I'll have sweet dreams tonight. Thanks for shareing.

  • love alan rickman.

    thanks for uploading.

  • I just want him to tell me this!!! sweet whisperer!

  • I adore this movie. IT's so Sweet. Tear jerker. And, Alan Rickman... yum!

  • He doesn't have very good Spanish does he? XDXD Oh wait they just said that XD I'm no one to talk though. He's brilliant, though!

  • Except his Spanish is crap! The pronunciation OMG terrific . Like his German in Die Hard! But his English is the best in the world

  • Well you see it's SUPPOSED to be a crap accent!!

I'm sure he could do a much better one, but this is what this role required. He only learnt it recently & she tells him it's terrible too lol

  • I love this movie to pieces, I always watch it when I need a good cry. last time I watched it was with my friend...and we were both bawling by this part

  • This is just beautiful

  • Alan Rickman hablando español!!

    Dios, me lo como!! xDD

  • neru da..neruda!!"la muerta"

  • This is one of my all time favorite movies, and I just adore Alan Rickman

  • Pablo Neruda...

  • I love this movie. And this is one of my favorite scenes. I love the look on Jamie's face when she is hugging him, after he recites the poem.

  • @Potionsmaster that is a great look on his face when she is doing that.
