EMU will never get done, they keep losing support due to arrogant devs. mainly Ultyma. They though they had something "everybody" wanted. But they have chased off every talented programmer and media that wanted to supprt them. They have one great programmer Oru. But its probably just a matter of time before he packs his bag and leaves too.

swg emu will get up there. they are basically making a game from scratch at fast speed. itll be done in a year or so which is fast for a game like swg

Well acctually an announment was made a few days ago, and its said that live beta server was going to be opened soon in 2009, should be fun, as it will be like a real server, starting from scratch =D I cant wait haha!

In all honesty, ill agree with you, NGE has got ALOT better, but the majority of the players, including myself feel screwed by SOE, and thats the main thing i have against the NGE, that it is ran by a bunch of monkeys. Besides Pre CU was more then an mmo, it was a world/life simulator, and that is what i want to play.

The reason it takes so long is because the game as pre-cu no longer exists, they have to rebuild it. Where as the WoW servers as they are exist.

Number one thats CU as someone pointed out and the end even has NGE...... try doing the village base rescue and escort quest during real Pre-CU , now that was brutal.
