@KylerMellonKolly This song does mean a lot to him, yes. However, Oli has never suffered with cancer in his throat. He will have periods of time where he suffers with tonsilitus, this affects his glands in such a way it causes him to be poorly and results in poor vocals. In fact, when the band were due on the Kerrang! tour he became ill with this again and Oli had to broadcast a message for Bring Me The Horizon fans explaining he was ill, he sent his apologies!

@Voshpin He is crying because of the emotional connection he has with the song, with respect, he wrote this song about Amanda. I believe the word 'vices' is used to show that Oliver feels strongly about something else and this caused issues with trust between them both; he repeats over and over that she can't trust him regarding to his vices. Vices means : 1) Immoral or wicked behavior. 2) A metal tool with movable jaws that are used to hold an object firmly in place. : Therefor i believe he is either saying he is sorry for his behavior/how he acted/ ect. Or it could be a play off of definition 2, and maybe like the tool he is holding onto something close from the past. I dont know
