  • I like your video! :-) I didn't know of this cheat, but I will try it!! =)

  • WOW you're pretty good to play with glitches ! (I will try this.)

  • Save states are even more of a "cheating" tool than slow-motion. At least with slow motion, you can't undo mistakes. State saving allows you the freedom to try everything over again as many times as you need. Don't claim to not use programs. The glitch display is cool without the need to butter it up with false information.

  • @Diggidoyo Well, if you think again, this clip is as close to perfection as possible by playing without any slowmotion/frameadvance/Tool-assisted programs at all. If I, for example, failed to do the glitch or failed to perform a necessary jump at a certain time, I must start over the whole level again. I am not sure how many times I played this stage until I got it right, but I remember over a 100 times at least. How can you call that cheating?

  • Damn, that appears much more frustrating then the regular Quickman stage. At least then, you don't have to wander around in the dark til you've learned the darkened portions of his stage and you don't have to worry about getting greeted by lasers cuz you don't know where you're going either. It's just better to get on your P's and Q's, and just go through the stage like 99% of the people playing this game will. Glitches>:(

  • Shadowquick Man?

  • Firstly, uses savestates is considered a "cheatprogram". And, I have beaten Quick Man's entire stage blindfolded, and I'm not even that good at Megaman.

  • @FireJigglypuff2310 dude blind folded? really? come on, i would give you 3 tries, even then would be pretty hard come on.

  • Wait no TAS?! You have got to be kidding me!

  • @nonobaOMGWEEGEE2 a little exercise will do the trick :)

  • Damn, I thought I was good because I beat his stage first, but in the dark? Yeesh. :)

  • what's the...................

  • "Pretty Good Mega...But figth me...in the dark...WTH CRASH BOMBS?!" *dead sound*

pretty funny....but its not legitim anyway...

  • WTF......

  • its the lazers!

  • i dont see your glitch on that later game can you tell me in what second is your glitch in the end???

  • That was pretty cool. It would take me a long time to memorize the level like you did.

  • lool , fun ^^

  • Like Ive said to everyone else; I am not using slowmotion. The only thing I am using is savestates, thats it. The zipping I did before the boss-dorr (1:17), was very much luck because I have played the stage through like a thousand times before I got it right.

  • Using Savestates IS considered TAS...

You claimed you played "the game as it is". I cant remember the good'ol NES had Savestates...

Next time atleast admit it. Too many poeple know the difference.

  • I thought it was obvious that Im using savestates. To play the game like this, without using savestates, is inhuman.

  • Than this is a TAS. You also could have slowed it down, because it wouldnt make any differences now. But still its entertaining, i would like to see more mega man TAS runs of you.

  • except this isn't a speedrun..

  • Does that mean it's impossible to perform the glitch without savestates?

  • @hAJPNO Wait what!? I can clear MM2 without savestates... :/

Does that mean i'm an alien or something?

  • @Gigameth89 He's talking about the glitch.

  • @TheMrHupu Look above this and read Desperoth's comment and the response, you'll understand my message a bit better then. :)

  • Well done sir!

  • Is the background staying black because you're playing it on an emulator?

Also, is the reason the lasers don't leave a trail because it's on an emulator?

Anyway, cool video. I always saved my Flash Man weapon to use against Quickman as a boss, tho; it drains half his power!

  • The background and the lasers are not because of the Emulator. This acutally happens if you abuse the glitch I did.

  • Cool.

brb trying it on a NES.

  • do u think that this would work on the PS2 Megaman A.C. version with it being not the normal game that plays on the NES they mite have fixed it but i didnt even no that this could happen in the first place lol beat this stage not starting over cuz i havent even beat this game yet im stuck on the dragon boss on willy stage 1 lol

  • some glitches from the megaman games work on the anniversary edition... but I dont think they ALL work though

  • Oh my god...

  • did you know you were utterly insane?!

  • Thank you, it took a lot of practice though!

  • how do you find all those glitches?

  • There are some speedrun-sites you can read and get some help from. Otherwise you just try to discover them by yourself!

  • it was a good run but had u gone through the whole level without using Time Stop would have been impressive and a marvel!!

  • To finish the run in the way I did in this stage you must use Time Stop, otherwise you will die. Thank you!

  • Not a problem. Seriously, those lasers are not hard.

  • I know they are not that hard, its just that i wanted to see him go through with it without using time stop in the darkness.

  • nice, yea with that suit he'll be dead within the first 2 seconds good job

  • ok nice job but, what hapens if you DONT memorize the stage and run around in the pitch blackness and get killed?

  • If I get killed while im in the "blackness", I will just begin from the middle of the stage, like normal.

If I dont memorize the blackness-area then its a disaster :D

  • WTFF HAPPENED JUST HERE?????

  • WTF?

  • Daaaamn, Quickman got one shot off on you. You should've redone it!

  • wow ur good

  • OMG! You ARE Megaman!

  • WOW... :O

You truly are a GOD. That was f*cking amazing! And you beat Quickman without using flash! I bow to you!!!

  • Thank you haha! There are some things I could have done better though..

  • so modest!

    I agree with gdog066!

  • You added this video in 2006, when are you going to fix the problem??

  • haha good question :) i dont have the energy to fix the problem, sorry if it bothers you :)

  • HOLY SHIT you are good. Awesome job.

  • ok i didnt get it to work but nice still

  • cool im gonna try that rigth now

  • This was my favourite level song! LOL thanks for uploading this!

  • Me too! :D this is absolutely the best megaman music

  • This stage...reminds me of X5 Sigma stage...

  • damnitsri:

The Quickman-stage does appear again in Megaman X5, although the stage is more difficult there than on Megaman 2 :) Thanks for the comment!

  • that was some leet shit man. i always saved him for last on the original :)

  • LOL me too.

  • It did work on the NES ROM version of the game on my computer but not the Gamecube Version. It's kinda strange that there are other glitches besides this level. Keep Searching.

  • The Gamecube version never work for me. Unless CAPCOM remodify the game. I did it right but he did not slide.

  • insectduel:

Please explain how you do when you are inside the wall which causes the glicth.

  • My computer broke down to try the ROM version so I use the Gamecube version. Okay first off I used Item #1 at least twice but third when the platform went off the celing. I was on there facing left where the corner is while the floating platform is off the celing. Then I got up there all the way up the screen. Then I use the JUMP Button while he's in the top on the screen and he wouldn't slide at all.

  • I also have Mega Man Anniversary Collection for GameCube, and can't get the full effect of the glitch. Whenever I try, Mega Man goes up through the wall, goes off-screen (where he is in your video just before you start zooming to the right), and just stays up there. Whenever I press a direction on the control pad, he just falls back down to the ground.

  • I'm gonna try this for my Nintendo Gamecube of MMAC.

  • already knew that 1

  • Pretty sIc man.

  • how the hell did you figure that out?

  • dam that was awesome, does that work on all games

  • Thanks :), Well, you can use this game-error in Megaman 1 and Megaman 2, and at some places in Megaman 3 and Megaman 4, but NOT everywhere! Try it ;)

  • nice =)

  • Holy Shit. Was that one hell of a dance party or what. Damn. Thanks for the info

  • that glitch was fuckin SICK.

  • shweet

  • Cool dude

  • Weird. I didn't know the Crash Bomb was Quick Man's weakness weapon. I assumed it was Time Stopper.

  • No! Not the boss fight, the glitch.

  • How'd you use an error and do that?

  • Weird yet cool.

  • Thank you :) I will upload more clips on both Megaman 1 and 2 showing some game errors! Thanks for the comment! :D

  • Thats just flawless :D
