  • can u plz post the link of ur own Bootupdater which u have shown in the video..

The boot updater downloaded frm the website is not working .

So plz post the link of ur own bootupdater software.....

  • @MrMike5130 The one in the video is not "my own". It's the same CoderForLife update, just an older version. Updates to Win7 have made it so that using the older version can easily break your computer, so I'd recommend just using the newest version.

  • @IceMetalPunk: The newest version is not working... When I double click it or when I open it as an administrator nothing happens, the program wont run. I had installed another copy of Win 7 to my hard disk(new one) , I tried to run the newest version(dwnled frm tat site) but it is not opening at all. I had an older version of tat win7bootupdater which is goin to run in my pc , but tat is goin to crash my system.

So plz can u post the links of "Win7bootupdater" which u have...?. :)

  • @MrMike5130 @MrMike5130 @MrMike5130 The one in the video is simply an older version of CoderForLife's. It was the newest version when I posted this video. I no longer have it because I updated to the newer version. The one you can find on CoderForLife's site is the one that I have, and it works fine for me. I don't know why it's not opening for you.

  • @IceMetalPunk . Ok I'll try it for one more time n see. thanks for the reply.. :)

  • Is this safe? I'm afraid that I'll screw up my computer -.-

  • @Chester8991 As long as you use the latest version of the Boot Updater program from the coderforlyfe website, you should have no problems.

  • when i try 2 apply my boot skin, all files r shown to be successfully updated but it fails at bootmgr.

the error says " the file bootmgr could not be read as a PE file". But in options when i select bootmgr on hidden system partition, it shows dat all files nd text r succesfully updated but then when i reboot windows shows no booting animation and tries to fix the problem. error occurs when bootmgr on C\Windows\Boot\PCAT\ is selected - PLEASE HELP ! :(

  • help, that windows 7 boot updater wont open at all, ive tryed everything, downloading then running, downloading then saving THEN opening, its not working at all !!!

  • My own had an error :( HELP ME!!!

  • @TheShaxz Did you use the newest version of the updater?

    -IMP ;) :)

  • thumbs up for Avast! antivirus

  • 12MB bmp file from a 600k png -.-

  • The actual start animation is changed, but I am doing this on a laptop...so if I am off for like 4 hours at a time with the lid closed, it has to resume. But the "Resuming Windows" screen is now just a grey boring bar and not the custom animation. Any idea how to fix?

  • @iamnemptybag download the newest version on 7bootupdater and you can fix that issue

  • OMG thank you dude! im subbing! ;)

  • @TMNT39 No problem :) .

    -IMP ;) :)

  • is it possible to change the text it seems every time i try and attempt to it sends me into recovery mode to fix the c Microsoft stamp

  • @shagmiester91 I managed to remove the text the first time, but after that I couldn't change the text at all (I had to keep "Text" unchecked every time or it'd cause problems). So, no, that's an issue with the program and thus you can only change/remove the text if you do it on the first run of the program and never after.

  • I really freaked out when my not only did this NOT work!.. I ended up somewhere I've never been bfore called Windows Recovery Environment.. Didn't know what the hell I could do! Couldn't even go to safe mode, and for some reason the "How to.." part on the official site of the software includes a command prompt instruction, which didn't work either(windows\system32 in D: ?). I reinstalled Windows last night and now I'm back to try this 1 last time lol! Can you PLZ HELP ME out here? Really want to

  • @undeny Yeah, that happened to me, too, when I used the updated version of Win7BootUpdater. Apparently the new version is very buggy. I got the command prompt fix to work, though, by changing D: to C: (it has to be the drive your Windows folder is in).

I'd stick with the old version if I were you. Since the official site no longer links to that version, I'll upload a mirror to it and post the link in the video description.

  • @IceMetalPunk YES! That would be awesome 8D!!

  • @IceMetalPunk Btw, do you remember/still have the version of this software that was used in your tutorial? Maybe I could try to find it as well and save you the trouble. I', aching to give this another go & upload a video of my PC from boot tOO 8D!

  • @undeny Check the video description. I already updated the link to a mirror of the version I use.

  • at 0:37 couldnt you just press the rotate button in the picture viewer to rotate the image?

  • @D34N6232 No. If you do that, it'll still be a PNG file, but Windows requires a 24-bit BMP. I suppose you could rotate it that way, then load it into Paint to convert it to a BMP, but if you're opening it in Paint anyway, you might as well rotate it there.

  • sir i'm stuck on rotating the sprites.. how to rotate them having 200 X 113 pixels?.. my laptop has a 16:9 aspect ratio..

  • @jekjekjerky88 you need to put your 200x113 layer to 200x200 black solid, and THEN only render it.
