Blood Transfusion & Ihop

Yeah. I have spend a month looking up this info. Scares me because they found thalassemia and HbC in my blood and my daughter has the sickle cell trait from me. Had a heart attack 3 weekends ago and I have 6 appointments between now and January for unexplained medical problems. All are symptoms of Sickle Cell Disease. But my levels aren't. I know how it feels to have needle in ur arm and hands. I used to donate blood. I did 4 times this year, before I became severely anemic. Went from 15.3 to 10.8. They found out I have Hemoglobin C and Thalassemia. Bad part is, I have the sickle cell trait. All three have been found in ppl with SCD. It really sucks. Good to know my blood was a match to patients in the hospital. Now I'm close to needing a transfusion. I can tell u have SCD. The whites of ur eyes are yellow. Classic sign of SCD.
