Hey Emma you said on your Twitter that the program freezes on the Flip startup screen, you should be able to bypass the flip video program and get the videos directly from your "My Computer" directory,
When you insert your Flipcam right click the Flip Video icon on My computer and click explore to open up the finder window, the videos are stored under the DCIM folder and you can just copy them across, I've sent you a raw video file before without the program so it should read the files fine
