  • Fall music in its purest form. Besides the fact this man is one of the most talented musicians I've come across. Thanks for the highs and the lows alexi.

  • Alexi Murdoch is pretty amazing to listen to. I don't see how people say he sounds like Nick Drake though, because they sound pretty different to me.

  • such a gorgeous soul

  • Alexi alexi alexi, why are you so good? Do us all a favor and keep it up, findin good music these days is a challenge, thank you kind sir :)

  • I should stop watching videos of him because of how increasingly depressed they make me about the fact that I'll prob never see him live...but I can't stop. So thanks for uploading this!

  • i wonder if he was influenced by John Martyn. He sounds exactly like him.

  • I heard one of his songs on a fire-poi video and was amazed about the feeling in his songs. I love his voice and flow . You can lay down on the floor, listen to this songs and you are able to fly across a wide open field - no, i don´t take drugs ;-)

    Just like it

  • That's just how I feel when listening to his songs...like I am laying in a field watching a bright blue sky filled with thick fluffy clouds or laying on a raft floating gently down a river filled with water lilies.

  • @DawnCandace He writes his songs on a boat, just like you describe.

  • Great recording whatcha use???

  • has anyone come up with a decent sounding way to play this? open tuning for sure, heavy on a d# but thats all i can really get

  • hey if you found a tab please send me a message :) if not ill figure it out and send u the tabs. i love this song. im willing to bet my left nut its dropped d though

  • You're right - its actually triple D, which is to say both the high and low 'e' strings are dropped 1 step to 'd'. (DADGBD) this means that you dont have to fret the 1st string btw, its used as a 'pedal point' to let the note ring out.

  • Infact, scrub that! It's DADGAD. commonly used open tuning. The B string is also dropped 1 step to 'a'.

  • he plays guitar so well.

  • he's kinda hot. mmm...

  • this song is ridiculously good

  • as is all of his songs :)

  • he has such a beautiful voice

  • super... i tyle w temacie... komentarz zbędny...

  • I was there when he played down in orlando at park ave CD's. He played it, I was in total awe. He played some great songs before that, but I still love this one the best.

  • it's "Someday Soon"

  • thank you!

  • isn't it "dream about flying"

  • yes thank you so much for posting this!

  • I'd kill to have his voice!

  • Saw him open with this number at Cafe du Nord in San Francisco, one of his best. I've scoured the Internet looking for the name, and can't find it anywhere! Hope it's on the next album.

  • Great quality, thanks for this.
