the lens are good or not, depending on how good the photographer is

you can make incredible photograph with this...just do your best...

I use this lens on my nikon d40 and I like it a lot--if gives you good quality for a very reasonable price. It does not have vr so you have to shoot it fast (more that 1/60). I paid $164 US for mine--best money I spent.

is this 300mm lens image stabilized ? and can you explain how zoom system works with the length of these lenses? ......i mean in terms of compact cams, how much "X" of optical zoom can i expect ?

I have buy this lent yesterday and I can say that is a good lent... It is not one of the best... but who can not buy a expenssive one this one is just good. ;)

i don't regret buying it, but imho, if the shooting with iso "1600/3200 1/250_and_more in difficult lighting conditions is not acceptable for you, then you should look closer at something like canon 55-250 4-5.6 ef-s is. See examples of test shoots on the links in description of this video
