@Mizsweety786 it really depends on how old the bird is when you get it and how much of the same words you say to him. My quaker picked me out when he was 2 weeks old {theres a hand raised bird store a few cities over from where i live} and within weeks of brining him home, when he was about 5 months old, he started saying his name, as well as 'step up' and 'I love you'... though when i went back to the store and they asked how he was doing and i said he was already talking they were amazed
