I watch Al Jazeera English here in Switzerland, and I believe it is head and shoulders about any international news agency. BBC World, which is a good network is nowhere near even as comprehensive in its reporting as Al Jazeera.

alzazeera english is the best thing to happen to modern day tv journalism- as the man in the video points out, bbc and cnn though they are good focus only on the rich part of the world- alzazeera really takes great pains to go to the farthest reaches of the underdeveloped nations to bring out news nobody could its absolutely amazing to see. Its amazing how a 1 yr old channel has already become my no 1 news channel, far better than cnn or bbc.

Al Jazeera, CNN and Fox News (Even BBC) are NOT propaganda. They have commentary, and when people say something they don't agree with, it sticks in their heads, making them think it's the entire news network that has this opinion.

Take Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reily at Fox News, many believe Fox is radically conservative almost solely because all they ever hear about are these two hosts. What about Alan Colmes? Never heard of him? A conservative would then say you watch liberal propaganda.

Now in my opinion Al Jazeera is better than BBC for world news. Particularly events in the Arabic world, where there reporters seem to be better informed and more "on the ground" than BBC.
