Good idea leaving the hood off, probably took a 10th off with that. The weight transfer would also be better. I'll try that on my '68 next time I'm at the track. You can see mine on '68 Olds 442 W30 2 go 2'
Looked like the Buick had skinny tires in the back....it's supposed to have some nice wide fat bottoms.
