I understand the Americans were rarely represented in this race, I wonder why? I also notice that Americans normally equip their jeeps with fat over sized tires & very high lifted suspensions, whilst entries in this race and Europeans in general equip their off road vehicles with normal or slightly raised suspensions with relatively narrow but tall tires. Why??? Which is better?
