@SonicGamer1991 the Horizon IS the MH series. The 350 isn't the same quality as any of the Horizons though, and to be honest the Deluxe (1000) series might not be either. I can tell you this.... I play LTD guitars religiously. I don't spend big money on ESP because the LTD top class (DELUXE) is basically the same. All the specs are the same, even the bridge and tuners (SPECS...not companies). I've never had any problems with the LTDs,...but I'd suggest AT LEAST a 400 or higher LTD MH

@wariomt I have an MH-1000, M-200, H-100, and an MH-400. The 400 and 1000 are the two that I gig with, and use the others as back ups. The Horizons I've played feel exactly like the MH-1000. In fact, the only difference I've really noticed is in the neck itself. Almost like the frets are finished to be a bit smoother on the ESP models. Certainly feels smoother, but not much different from the 1000 series LTD's.

@comedybenj Aside from the fact that it has a Floyd Rose, higher end guitars are much less complicating to use, cheap beginner guitars require a lot more care because they don't stay in tune very well and have many other problems like bridge movement, fret buzz, wood problems, etc. So the answer to that question is no! As long as you're willing to put up with the Floyd Rose, the guitar will be MUCH less complicating than those cheap beginner guitars.

If you don't want to deal with the Floyd Rose, there are other options such as the ESP Horizon NT II which has a Gotoh Tune-O-Matic bridge with Stop Tailpiece! Keeps in tune EXTREMELY well & has increased sustain! You should check them out!

@comedybenj If that's what you like and if you got the money for it then I say go for it. Gibson Les Pauls stay in tune very well & also have that thick rich tone (due to it's heavy weight)! It's also extremely versatile and will work for practically any genre of music! The weight is what throws most people off from Les Pauls, but if you don't mind the weight, this guitar is great!

@comedybenj It is HIGHLY unlikely that you will break the guitar or even cause any real damage to the guitar by fiddling with the Floyd Rose or trying to tune it. Floyd Rose tremolos are built to withstand extreme use of the whammy bar! The Floyd Rose won't cause you to damage the guitar in anyway, it will just be a bitch to tune!

As far as not using the tremolo. There are ways to "Block" the tremolo from moving and make it into a hardtail. Type "block tremolo" in the youtube search and click on the first video. The guy shows you how to Hardtail your electric guitars.
