  • after i watched this video This is the Sunrise Ceremony (Dance) of the Native American - Apache's. The Ceremony (Dance) is about the changes of a young girl and becoming a woman. , my insight is very open because the video is very good to give information

  • I am very happy to see the vidoe about the changes of a young girl and becoming a woman. The Song Lyrics are in Apache and not English. The song is Mesmerizing. The Full Length song is like over 9 minutes after you give this

  • Your Video This is the Sunrise Ceremony (Dance) of the Native American Apache's. The Ceremony (Dance) is about the changes of a young girl and becoming a woman. Is Very Useful Sharing

  • I'm apache and this .. is so wrong the music is off.. yes i know that they are speaking apache but the beat . it not something we would play at a REAL sunrise dance

  • im apache and sorry but this is not traditional apache music.

  • @nostalgicBurst such a dtrange remark you ashamed of being indian if in fact you are indian or you just want to put downsomething you actually know nothing about?????

  • @thoostorm4 no, dumbass, I am apache/not ashamed to be, I have no idea where you got that idea. I was saying that this music you added to this video IS NOT tradtional music. You my friend, are quiet the hypocrit because judging by this video, YOU know NOTHING about my tradition

  • ALL I KNOW IS THIS THESE BASTARDS THAT KILLED ALL THESE INNOCENT NATIVES CHILDREN ARE CONTINUING BUSINESS AS USUAL, RAPING AND MOLESTING THE INNOCENT. THEY ARE INVOLVED IN FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND HAVE A GREAT MANY FOLLOWERS. THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH HAS BEEN DESTROYING OUR COMMON PAGAN HERITAGE FOR THE LAST 2000 YEARS. IT IS TIME TO TAKE OUR CULTURES BACK AND REMEMBER EVERY THING OUR ANCESTORS HAVE THOUGHT US. WHEN WE DIG UP FROM THE RUINS OF ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS THE TRUTH, WE WILL SEE PEACE.

  • is there any apaches that can teach me my owne tounge i live in san jose email is apache_nation09@yahoo.com never been out of san jose, but my people r from arizona/new mexico/mexico lastnames r ortega's/obeso's

  • donde puedo descargar esta cancion???

  • donde puedo descagar esta cancion????

  • I would love to hear the full length of this song.

  • If the pregancy is wanted, that is fine. It is good for women to have babies, but they are not "baby machines." Just my opinion...

  • This sounds more like an Arab/World style song rather than an authentic Apache song. LOL

  • Magical, spiritual, APACHE BEAT love it

  • I'm apache and this is not a ceremony song, plus we don't use a flute in our music. This is not apache. It is more of a white people style of song, where they try to sing our native songs and pretend to be native.

  • @NativeHonii Wow I didn't know that. Thank you.

  • Wonderful - and different!

  • A very wise custom. If all girls had to go through a ceremony like this upon reaching puberty, there wouldn't be so many unwanted pregnancies.

The music and singing is absolutely ethereal, other-worldly. Stunning. Haunting.

  • @romielnagar The Apache people need to reproduce more since our numbers are so low. And also back in the day Apache woman had children YOUNG.

  • @CMeccamenza I agree 200% with that.

  • Comment removed

  • I love this video .and the Apache ways love all native ways but closer to my Apache friends who i honour and respect more so my warrior who i am lucky to have in my life thanks for sharing

  • Thanx.. Just know that this is the edited version of the song. The full length song is over 9 minutes duration.

  • Oh yeah. The apache fire dance is pretty awsome, so is the other tribes in Oklahoma. what I miss is the armedillos. I use to live near Elgin, Oklahoma

Lipan Apache Band of Texas website. There girls

participated in the first public ceremony since

    the 1860's.

  • The song captivates you wheter you understand it or not its beautiful

  • Your spirit is very strong don't lose it.

  • I am Mescalero and this is great, Iam a very proud apache woman, my mother gave be a chance to experience what it is like to go through puberty rites, a very significant time in my life and I cry with joy when I see other women going through this time in their life, great!!

  • can you explain the gold one where it looks like they are pulling the hair?

  • That is clay and they are not pulling her hair, rather putting the clay into her hair. We are from the earth and the clay is from those sacred grounds.

  • ur a apache indian greetings from India

  • in the age of information sharing its harder to conceal sacred things. thats the way it is now.

  • i think its wrong you shouldn't have pictures of the crown dancers on here you should take them off right away!!!!

  • Look at Joe Tohonnie Jr. There are crown dancers dancing at the shiprock fair. Also -- When I attend Sunrise Dances I see a lot of people taking pictures.

  • That includes videos. The Crown dancers knew I was taking their photos. I had their permission. There are more photos at my website as well.

  • Why would I take those photos down? They are my people. I am Mescalero Apache'. I have more of them on my website.

  • really! cool! im pretty sure im lipan apache. ive never had a cerimony the day i turned a woman and im really sad. tell me about your people.

  • i am Mescalero and I know that all the apache bands do theirs different, I have seen some giving it hell when dancing and running and then I have seen some of them make it look like a piece of cake. this is very intense mentally and physically but worth it when you become may age. I plan to pass this on to my grand daughters and hopefully they will do the same. Come to Mescalero in July and you will witness the ceremony first hand.

  • YEA MAN MESCALERO MAN HERE.....

THe culture keeps us strong and thats why we are strong enough to share...look at most other races...the give up they beautiful dances for d money and squar houses :(

  • why?

  • Why? They go to all the Powwow festivals and allow photos. I am Apache' and I respect them very much.

  • vey power ful
