  • very nice!! .. does the wedgwood play easier than other horns? .. stan

  • If I had a Wedgwood I would certainly play it everyday! Your trumpet must also be Wedgwood.

  • A skilled cornet played should play 4 hours a day.. :s but you've gotta have a lot of time on your hands then :D

  • That sir, was awesome!

  • where do i find this piece??

  • Its published by Wright and Round music publishers. You will find them on Google.

  • @hostroute hi there that sounds great ^ ^ I was wondering where can I buy the cornet that you are playing? I need that type of trumpet because I'm left handed... it will fit me well.

  • Very good, I myself play the cornet,, nd I am curently playing it in my lesson, the second variation was rushed,, nd also if u play the trumpet the top C at the end wld be no bother for u,, lol jokes, very good,,

  • Only 15-30 minutes a day? Should bump it up to at least an hour if you're at all serious about playing. You sound quite good already, imagine if you practiced more P: Also, hold your horn straight! Your constricting yourself.

  • A really good try, especially with it being such a hard air varie piece. But the whole piece needs to be practiced slowly, so all the notes are right and only then played quicker and quicker. until you hit a good speed. Sounds good though!

  • Well, in that case, I have to say you must be exceptionally gifted. Keep posting your stuff, I'm looking forward to more piccolo pieces. Your Telemann rendition was quite good. If you get that picc playing more relaxed it will be truly beautiful.

  • Superb work. Are you an amateur? If yes, I'm wondering how much time you practice every day. The bozos making negative comments here take care of not pointing to their own versions. There are a lor of guys laboring in conservatories who wish they could record that. Hats off from a very humble amateur player

  • I am an amateur, but a trumpet player rather than a cornet player. I play the trumpet for about 15 to 30 minutes a day and I do a weekly orchestra rehearsal.

  • anyone has tested this score or give me a URL where you can find it?

    thank you very much ^^

  • What RUDE comments! Sure are a lot of assholes in the world.

    Thanks for the video :-)

  • @michaelm742 Well they won. I gave up playing!

  • @hostroute WHY would you do that! Did you play in the first place for you own enjoyment? Chances are the ones taking you apart note for note were really reacting to the memories of their own lack of commitment and perserverence, and feel a bit better about their own pathetic selves by sounding as knowelgeble as they can manage while picking your playing apart. If you cannot see garbage like that for what it is, namely pathetic, insecure fragile little egos needing to feel quantified,

  • You have a good technique but you played the piece with zero musicality

  • @christyboyle Yep, thats why I gave up playing.

  • what a redneck you are

  • red neck guy is a friggin tosser!! sounds like hes not getting any!! off his mum!!

  • I was very impressed with both your tone and triple tonguing. I'm yet to conquer triple tonguing, but as soon as I do I'm going to learn this piece :D Well played.

  • Anyone want to give up a cornet for a new learner? ... no seriously, I really want to learn and I'd appreciate the help. Contact me with info if you can. Thank you.

    XXXXXXX

  • i used to have a cornet, was in a brass band and all but due to some unfortunate events (aha it was funny) i no longer have a cornet >:(

lookin to get a new one tho!

was first solo or summat when i was 15...

    i want a new one :'(

    your good :D

  • hi i play the cornet for the band! and i am in the second section well i was but now my music teacher has moved me up!!!

  • very nice from Barcelona, wow

  • very good/cool ... i played 2nd trumpet on the hymn at our wind-orchestra ... fun to play :)

  • C'mon Gordon - That's not Hardenberger quality :-) Enough clams in the 1st and 2nd variations to have a clam bake :-) Back into the shed and then rerecord - for shame :-)

  • Why not record it yourslef and upload it?

  • Very nice indeed! You play very relaxed. Is your horn a left-hand wrap, or is the video shot in a mirror?

  • Thats an interesting question. I had the webcam set accidentally to show mirror image. On my other webcam this only affects the monitor not the actual recording, on this one it has actually flipped the actual recording as well.
