Weve had our 2008 Malibu 2LT for just under a year now and I love that car!We paid just under $28,000 for a fully equipped model and it rides like a much more expensive car.Its handling in bad weather conditions,like ice and snow is superb which as most midwesterners know is a must for this winter. Im a big guy so its not as roomy as i would like but with the seat back and down all the way i have plenty of head and leg room. I just love it! yeah it could be better ..but what car couldnt?

I know that my dad's 2001 malibu rides pretty smoothly for a $20,000 car. it definitely won't attract any attention. it's one of the most boring cars on the streets, with acceleration and handling that would make you yawn, and styling that would put you to sleep. it's perfect for my 68 year old dad! it's great that chevy is trying to attract a younger market with the 2008. I personally would never buy an american car.

FYI - On this platform g6 is gen 1.0 Aura is 2.0 and Malibu is 3.0. It's more refinded and worked over then these other two cars on the same great platform.

The Honda Accord is way better than The Saturn Aura and the Chevy Mailibu. Plus the Saturn Aura tried to copy off of the Greatest American car ever (Oldsmobile) "Aurora's" everything but it does not even have the interior quality like the Aurora's it is just newer technology that the new Aura has thats it offers. And the name that Saturn used to call its car the "Aura". IT's nothing like the best Aurora, never have never will.

And yes Saturn "TRIED" to copy off of the Aurora's features and great quality and its firs few letters. In my statement above I said Oldsmobiles are the greatest "American" cars of all time. You need to get your facts together. You need to do a little bit more reading of The Saturn Aura cause they talk about it in their brochure That they tried to copy off the Aurora which is a true fact.

I know! I've also known people who have said that they love their little hondas. Cars will run well if you car for them. My little 1995 Grand Am is getting pretty old and so I am replacing it. Never had a problem with the engine or the transmission! The little things are killing my car though like poor quality interior materials. ugh!

That has been the biggest problems with recent American cars is the interiors, but that's changing, check out the new Escalade and CTS. Ford is even manufacturing some high quality interior trim these days I hear.

Well another chev that thinks it can compete with Honda Accord!!! Forget about it. Honda is always better period. If you want a cheap alternative then buy the Malibu. Keep for three years and 4 recalls then sell it for a Honda.
