I love to get my hands dirty when I paint! It brings me closer to what I want to make. Your paintings, imagination , and colours that you use .. are great! Thank you for the videos
Where can I see the finished piece? I absolutely love this. I love Clive Barker's books but had only seen one example of his art, which hangs in my local gallery. I'm always nervous in my use of colour, so it's amazing to see art such as your own. Thanks for sharing!
Simply stunning looking. I agree that painting expressively is the most freeing. I find being at art school that we have to be so controlled and rigid. We have to work to rules but possibly that's the initial stages of learning and freedom comes later. Thank you so much for sharing. Oh and Clive Barker's art and books are amazing. His art is as vivid as his books are, and there are few that have his descriptive power.
This is my first time seeing this video. I love this painting so much. I am looking at clive's work this week, how ironic! Rules smules, yes it is about breaking them. thanks Gary
Thank you...Because of you, I just signed up on YouTube...had to tell you how inspiring your work on plexi is. I have wanted to use plexi, but wasn't sure of the approach...now I know, and I can't wait to get into the studio and begin...thanks again for the inspiration...Kristine
The Lakota word for this energy that you speak of is Takuskanskan (that which moves). When i learned this term, I felt an immediate, innate understanding of that energy. Through art we really learn to feel and see the physical manifestations of takuskanskan. You expressed it beautifully here in this video and i love the painting too. Very inspiring! Wopila!
I love you and I love your teachings! I am learning so so much! I don't think you quite understand the impact you are having on my journey. Thank you so much!!!
In case no one has told you lately; you are inspiring! When I feel like creating, but don't know what to do, a couple minutes of your vids cures the canvas block. Thank you for the effort you put in to your posts.
needed this affirmation.. today was perfect timing. thanks, for sharing yourself, your thoughts, and your art. much appreciated, my capricorn friend. :0) oh, the quote..right on!
Loved this. Looking forward to all this CB stuff. I ran across "Visions of Heaven and Hell" a while back and went nuts over his artwork. Prior to that I had no idea he painted. Only knew of his fiction and filmmaking. Can't wait to see the CA73 and PAG interpretation of his style.
awesome...you packed so many great inspirational concepts into this vid. it's going directly into my favorites! thank you so much....and your narrative perfectly compliments your process footage-you're extraordinary!
not so often I agree with you but this time I totally do...find your own way, let inspiration guide you to unexpected lands, sail into the ocean without a compass and you will find your own unconventional treasure island...
Well it is nice to come across someone who doesn't agree with me often...like all things there are 2 sides...;) Glad we can agree on one thing ;) Thanks for your honesty and comment.
I would buy that damn sketch....its fantastic...Thanks for sharing twin brother!...YOU know I can't draw..how the heck am I gonna make a vid like this one...your amazing.
well u could always just put ur own face up on video and we would see how it already looks like one of clives images LOL Back at you snap snap boy! ;)
LOL hey i never thought about hellboy when i was making it. It was inspired from one of my masks but now u mention it, it does look alittle like hellboy! ;)
This is by far your most captivating video. It goes beyond the art..the narration is superb and your ideas are inspiring. The editing is perfect. PLEASE...do a video in the future on how to do a video. All who watch are grateful for your generosity and thoughtful words.
LOL make a video on how to make a video ha? I really didn't think i was any good but thanks for the compliment. I like doing the narration though and i think there will be more videos of this type coming up! ;)
I've been digging through your videos but wondering did you guys ever finish this project? If so could you please tell me the name of the video?
