Richard, Bloodhound is an amazing project, great job! Global warming is a SCAM though. Best of luck to you guys (and most of all to Andy who's actually crazy enough to drive this beast).
This is one very exciting project. I made the mistake of not supporting Thrust SSC - I was sick as a parrot when it succeeded 'without me', though I wasn't sick about their success - well done Richard Noble and his team. I'm not making the same mistake this time - I joined the Bloodhound Club and I've contributed extra. A long project, but it'll take all of that time to accumulate the finances, not to mention designing and building a 1000mph car.
@doobydooby223 I've joined the 1k club too but due to work conflicts have yet to see the car or meet the crew which I'm gutted about but I'm grateful to have had some small impact! Just to add I think Richard Noble is an absolute inspiration and I'm hoping that enthusiasm rubs off on more "captains of industry" and they start Britian down the creating and making road again :-)

Am I the only one who finds wind and solar energy exciting? Who cares about a silly car anyway?

@copperkipper1 precisely, and we need engineers to develop, install and maintain nuclear, hydrogen and 'green' energy sources.
