  • Rubino!

  • mercedes engine sounds amazing

  • Ride with Rubens, its a joy!

  • No matter how many times i watch this it still brings a tear to my eye, what a thunderous applause rubens got!

  • Fernando Alonso @5:37 lol

  • This was one of the greatest Formula One tracks until Hermann Tilke got his hands on it.

  • the rear wings are very small XD

  • need part 1-2-3-7

  • Has anyone else noticed the mclaren mechanics celebrating Rubens crossing the line. Shows how much everyone in the paddock respects him.

  • @FM5KR6F2007 Actually, they were some Jaguar mechanics, formerly Stewart, for whom obviously Rubens drove for 3 years with before joining Ferrari. But yeah, your point is still certainly correct.

  • MP4-15 is such a beauty!

    Oh the memories...

  • The real Hockenheim...before it got Tilked.

  • i should upload the 7th part

  • manca la parte più bella dei pit stop, in cui barrichello non si ferma a cambiare le gomme.. peccato.. :(

  • Just out of curiosity, was this the race with the fairly big incident going into the first chicane on the first lap? I don't recall who was in it, just that was a Jaguar and a Sauber (I think...). I haven't seen that since the day it happened, and I can't find it on YouTube.

Heck, I don't even know if I have the right race. lol

  • @kornnut43 No it was Spa 2001. then it happened again in this .

  • rubens is good at rain he was driving on slicks

  • One of my favorite F1 moments of all time! Congrats Rubens!!!!!

  • Amazing Grand Prix, one of the best maiden victories ever, Senna at Estoril in 1985 is probably the only exception. This was special, Rubens Barrichello should have been treated better at Ferrari.

  • the most emotional F1 victory ever

  • I remember seeing this race when I was 9 years old. Even today, seeing Rubens win this race makes me smile. To win on a partly wet track on dry tyres is amazing. Such a shame that Ferrari always had Schumacher as the number 1 driver because I bet Barrichello could have won more races and maybe even a world title.

    Great vid! :-D

  • Why has part 7 gone? Apparently, you've removed it...

  • i just saw you have uploaded the podium in part 9. so.. ONLY PART 7 REMAINS!!!!!!

  • I heard Murray's reaction from a BBC website repeat. Needless to say he goes completely mental.

  • do you have the link for this??? i would apreciate it. thanks.

  • schopfheim91: not only the podium, what about part 7???? I WANT WALKERS REACTIONS AS RUBINHO STAYS OUT AND TAKES THE LEAD!!!! PART 77777777777. please...

  • he couldnt have picked a better venue for such a long-awaited 1st win, what a reception! and a fantastic win!

  • What a shame Ferrari had equality issues. It just shows hwo good Barrichello is as a driver - Ferrari never gave him a chance sadly though. The fact that he was on dry tyres on a partly-wet track shows serious talent. Great drive!

  • and part 7??

  • Barrichello's Show!!!

  • Brings a smile to me every time i see this =D

  • Barrichello always dry tires.....all others drivers changed for wet tires!!!!!!

  • It's so ironic how Button not Montoya ended up being world champion!

  • How is that ironic?

  • Why is it ironic? Button had the talent (obviously) to be world champion just as Montoya did. But Montoya threw the toys out of the pram when it looked like McLaren might be dumping him and ran off to Nascar instead of looking elsewhere for a drive, while Button stuck with Honda through good and bad times, for it to then become Brawn, and give him the car he needed.

  • Yeah post the podium ceremony, because I love the Italian national anthem.

  • these tracks are the best, not like now...

  • The atmosphere is so much electric during the last meters of Barrichello.

  • I miss the old Hockenheim. :(

  • part 7? 1 , 3???? =S

  • part 7......?????

  • Man you should upload the parts that aren't on here. but thanks for uploading!

  • Which ones aren't? (I could watch it up as well, but...)

  • Parts 1, 3, and 7. Thanks! :)

  • upload pls !!!

  • @schopfheim91 parts one, two, three, and seven are the ones I'm having trouble finding. thanks!

  • @schopfheim91 Parts 1 to 3 and 7.

  • @schopfheim91 the 7th one!!!

  • @schopfheim91 1-3, 7

  • @tubadude07 I'm guessing the copyright took them down for some rubbish reason.

  • YES Schopfheim, upload as many F1 racing video's as you can!!! Loving the video's you have already posted

  • Barrichellos best race ever

  • Barrichello ftw he was 4th at friday practice now at malaysia

  • you would have thought schumacher had won the race with that reception!

  • 5:38 I Didnt No Alonso Worked For Ferrari Ahahaha. Jkz.. Good Race Bring The Old Track Back.

  • The new track is pretty good as well, what they should do is run two races at hockenhiem and drop a crap circuit like Hungary or something.

  • how was Senna looking from the heaven!!!!

  • wow this takes me back a bit. Great race. Good ol' days with with Schezy and Barrichello =P

  • Go Jens

  • Barrichello is the best in rain's race.

The first victory, in great Grand Prix.

  • @luizfelipedias19 after 2 safety cars!mika is the best!

  • Great footage. Thanks for uploading!

  • When Murray commentates, anything can happen and it usually does! Murray we love you and miss you.

  • the driver to wait the longest time for a victory rubens barichello and what a first win absolute amazing

  • From last to first... Just like Senna!!!!

  • was nice to see some passing back in those days i mean we wont see guys from 14, 16,17,18 in the points at various points and cuttung through the grid

i mean 3 points finishers starting outside of the top 12 is just very unlikely without a lot of DNFs and frentzen and ralf had cars capable of getting points

  • Thank you for this. One of the greatest first wins by a driver in F1

I'm sure though that Jenson could have won had he started from his grid slot and not the back of the field

  • a 20-year old winner that would have been "FANTASTIC" as Murray says.

  • not that likely since for some reason the charges were on this day

    rubens wins from 18th

frentzen as high as 3rd from like 17th

ralf and jenson had terrible grid spots and moved up to the points of near to before ralf messed is up

button was ahead of 14th starter salo

basically he profited from circumstances and really could not keep with the mclarens and barrichello, anyone wining not in those 2 cars in 00 was unlikely

  • I do agree with you, but Button's original start position was 16th. Given that he finished fourth from a last place start - because of a stall I theorized that had he run the same race from his original start position he could have won, or at least got a podium.

There was an article in F1 Racing Magazine after Jenson got his first podium in Malaysia which mentioned he could have got a podium this race had he not stalled.

  • possible, coulthard being caught out in the sc period dropping places, but an raw pace i dont think so

coulthard without the sc would have been rather far ahead and frentzen had his gearbox not failed (which it did way too often in 2000) they would have been reasonably far up the road

that being said it is racing, raw pace is not the only thing needed

it was without a doubt an impressive driver amongst a fair number i mean salo from 15th, rubens from 18th, frentzen from 17th very impressive

  • Please upload the podium! That was quite special, with Rubens in tears and all.

  • Okay, I'll do that tomorrow.

  • please upload the podium

  • Yes, Upload it
