i actually saw a full highlight reel of an american game of league. i impressed me. of course being from australia we know wat its like to be good at it lol. wen i was watching it i found it really exctining, there were ofloads galore and it was really fast paced. things could be improvedlike defensive structure and core skills like the correct way to draw and pass. because on instances it looked a bit like rugby union and how retarded they are.
I haven't really got into rugby till I moved over here (Oz). I love watching it. I bet the U.S. sucks compared to NRL here huh? lol. Forgive my country for publicly disgracing your beloved sport lol.. maybe in time we will be a formidable opponent.. as for now we'll have to stick with what we know (NFL) haha! I'm a huge fan of both so in the summer time here I can watch NFL and during our winters I get to see NRL.. love it.
Yea I really hope it does get bigger. I love the NFL but we don't get to compete outside of the states because it isn't globally popular like rugby.. so this way we may get to compete internationally finally lol. Somehow I think we'd get our asses kicked all over the place because we're still so new to it haha!
believe it or not i actually follow the nfl really well, i keep up with the news and all that and know most of the players(the important positions of course) i cant name lineman, but yea.also u probly alredy know but we went ova to phlly for a game agenst ur tomahawks and i think u scored the first two tries. but i have to admit i think we scored the next 10 or so hahaha. also id like 2 c some of the australia athletes get trained for a game of nfl, i know wel get smashed but it makes me curious
I dunno.. I think the only thing that would make it hard for a rugger to adapt to NFL would just be memorizing the plays and shit. Other than that, they've got world class athletes... nothing a little bit of training can't fix ya' know? You probably couldn't use any ruggers for lineman lol.. they would have to gain 20 - 30 kilos in fat hahaha!!
