Just for the record, this was my first exposure to The Thief and the Cobbler. Didn't understand was this video was about at first, but naturally I was blown away by 0:52-1:16.
(If you're wondering I found this video because it was liked by dascottjr of literal music video fame.)
The fact that an absolute abomination of animation like The Legend of the Titanic is considered related to one of the greatest films never made is just pitiful.
@FuzzyDuck Changing subject, this documentary just HAS to be released. Having learned so much of the film's history (that, & I was one of few people who had the Miramax butchery) I think people, especially those with even a tad interest in animation, need to know about this film, & Richard Williams' attempt to create the greatest animated film of all time. All in all, this could spread its story to everyone, and any documentary that spreads word about this tragic piece of art is well worth it.
Have you interviewed Tomm Moore for this documentary? Because He was heavily influenced by The Thief and The Cobbler. What about the man himslef, Williams?
@121jakethesnake I chose to interview people who actually worked on the film and at Williams' studio. Unfortunately, the man himself did not want to discuss it.
Why not do a kickstarter project to raise funds?

@IHateThatHedgehog I think it's just because I watched part of that abomination around the time that I uploaded this trailer. (I hope.)

ohmss006 4 months ago
It's really sad that it never got made and even sadder Williams just doesn't want to talk about it any more.

Insquall4096 9 months ago
It's really unfathomably heart wrenching what happened to Richard, to have his life's work taken away from him without a further moment's notice
