I think it´s the guitar itself which gets that tone and amp is less important cause I have never studied in depth pick ups combinations and so on and the guitar keeps on remind me some of Brian´s tones. On this video I think I used a mic with my Marshall JCM 900 but I´ve been playing mostly proccessors directly to the computer and whatever the tone I use I get some nice tone. I love the Red Special. Thanks again for the comment! :-)

@tomtom12496 I´ve been a Queen fan for a lot of years, so vocal line has been always on my mind. I know what you mean and I would say that there are not so many notes if you repeat some patterns and add some improvised (or not improvised) things in between. Anyway, this song took me some hours of rehearsal (which I usually don´t do lol). Thanks!

@DrMusicAlbert I got it some 6 years ago on a shop in London (I can´t remember the name) but I think it´s easily available on shops like MusicStore or Thomann (Europe). You can check out Brian May´s web site and you´ll surely find information about models (ther´s only cherry finish to left handed ones).

@kingozzy20 Thank you! I can´t remember how did I played it but I think I used a mic caturing my JMC´s sound. When I play through the amp I usually use tha amp´s distorsion adding a Boss super overdrive pedal on some parts (solos above all). I´m not sure if those were the settings on this songs but I think they should be similar to what I´ve said before :-)

@clguitar04 No sé si sabría, pero te puedo comentar que es cuestión de centrarse en la tonalidad de Mi mayor y tratar de seguir la melodía de la voz. El resto es un poco de improvisación. Los acordes y notas se encuentran fácilmente por internet .

I can hardly remember what I was using on that video but I think it a BOSS Super Overdrive pedal added to my Marshall JCM900´s drive (low volume or neighbours could kill me).

Other possibility is that I was plugged to a little 15W Marshall I have with the drive up to 10, but I think it was the first opttion.

Es una Burns. Es el modelo anterior a que el propio May dirigiera la producción de la Red Special; de hecho, hay algunos detalles diferentes entre ellas. Pero entre la mía y las otras Burns de esa edición también existe otra diferencia: En la mía no aparece la marca Burns en la pala, sino la firma de Brian May, igual que en las actuales Red Special. Te gustará y no es muy cara.

Hi! I can´t remember well what I used but I think it was my guitar directly plugged to a Marshall JMC 900. The amp´s distortion was enhaced using a BOSS super overdrive.

I think that was the configuration those days. If not, it was pretty similar. In fact I´ve listened to the video again and I like the tone! :-)

io creo que esta mal como la tocas osea hay partes donde sales de l octava de la cancion orignal =/ y no entras al tiempo
