Honestly, how can you not like this guy? He's like a refreshing change to everything I thought politics was, especially being an ex-liberal, He is honestly of one my few personal heroes, and if you live in CT and don't vote for him I will personally come to your house and beat the crap out of you.

This event was not advertised properly. The only place I found out it was happening was at the Schiff for senate website and there it only said Place TBD. It took me great effort to find out where it was going to be held. Peter was only allotted 5 minutes and was the first person to speak. Some people had not even arrived yet. Schiff supporters need to make their friends aware of him. Every time I ask an acquaintance if they know of Peter Schiff they say no.

It is striking: when there's spontaneous applause near the end, Schiff does not react with any smile of self adulation or love of approval. I see no ego whatsoever. Only fervent and sincere alarm about the future we desperately must reverse our course towards.

I honestly believe that Ron Paul and Peter Schiff are simply operating to save our way of life - period. As people learn that they are not self serving, they will see that these two are unlike anyone they've seen before, and elect them.
