People are being unfairly negative and posting harsh comments. She is giving tips that she feels that work and are useful. All other people can is criticize her and attempt to justify themselves. Like what rebeccajanelove said, the hangers she is using are useful. Sure they may be a little fancy and expensive, but in the long run, they are worth it. Half the time, the stores take away the hangers that clothes were hung on. If they are free, then they are those crappy plastic ones.

I do have to say that out of all the coat hangers you can get they are the best ones. She means you will save space on the hangers because the ones she's mentioned are all thin instead of lets say the big thick wooden ones you can get.

I got some of those hangers at Bed Bath and Beyond. They were by Real Simple and the pack of fifty was 30 dollars... not bad. All mine are beige -- having them all one color does make the closet look more cohesive and less cluttered.

@babienikkay i have seen those pant hangers at Target. Also the other ones are sold at Target too - they are "Huggable Hangers by Joy Mangano". Joy sells on HSN and there are incredible deals there. If anyone is buying quantity or redoing a closet, I would suggest checking out HSN.com first.

I don't have a very domestic friendly family tradition, so I never was taught things like that. My mom always had hosekeeping ladies when I was a child, so I never thought of those things. Thank you for this video. I used this in conjucntion with the drawer and room organization videos and I was truely amazed by the difference. I have a ton of clothing ( tahnks to retail theraphy) so i went through everything and got rid of what I didn't need. I did the "hang-by-needed" org. For the extra, storage for other seasons, consortium store or thirft store. The hanger types were cheaper at Bed Bath and Beyond so it all worked out. Thanks ^^

Wouldn't that type of thin hanger actually damage the shape of certain garments, like heavy jackets with padding that needs shoulder shaped, slightly bent hangers in order to maintain their shape better? It is like the difference storing shoes with a shoe block in them, and squishing them flat.

I love the tip otherwise. Longer skirts can be hung from panthangers too, to save space. :)
