  • Stephen, I am such a huge fan of Telly's. What was Telly like as a person? Did he love his fans and was he approachable?

  • it's hard to think he was 69 here... He looked young and lively but 3 years later cancer beat him down...

  • he's got a San Diego Chargers jacket on, hell yea!!!

  • Greek God

  • 1time i lost my wallet in dahab (sharm-el-sheiqh). I also stand there like Telly Savalas in New York. 2luck the guy at the hotel was so kind to call the MP via walkie-talkie who advised the taxidriver to return. It all went out fine, luckily!

  • THE REAL TERRY TIBBS!

  • Shit, no one speaks like that anymore, this guy made women wet with every syllable.

  • I wonder what kind of world is this, if they stole Kojak's briefcase?

  • "Who loves you baby!!"

  • Telly, tu nous manques beaucoup.

  • Did he say anything about his 1987 film FACELESS? Cause thats the first thing I ever saw him in

  • LEGEND RIP...

  • "WHO LOVES YA BAYBE??"

  • Lost him way too soon.

  • wkurwia mnie ten prowadzacy !

  • He seemed so charming!!!

  • Rating is 5.0

    I love it, baby!

"Stay out of my racket" LOL

  • he must be jesus his water turns into wine !

  • telly is so cool i wish we could have him back cool video

  • the scalp hunters starring burt lancaster shelly winters

  • what a interview amazing.

  • whats film i think t exist i saw as child and had Kojak in a Westren them with Shirely Winters and Burt Lancaster i hope it exists but i don`t know the name of the film does anyone know the name of it? Kojak seems a warm loviing human being and sincere.

  • If he'd have owned owned his own broadcasting company, it could have been called 'Tellyvision'.

  • Thank you for posting this interview Stephen,i have watched it several times.Telly was a Talented Actor as well as a Gentleman. He is Sadly Missed.

  • When i first saw this footage of Telly Savalas i had to watch it twice. He was a Talented Actor as well as a Gentleman and he is sadly missed.Thank you Stephen for doing this interview, as well as posting this on to Youtube for others to see.

  • Whats all the talk about the Sheriton ?? Did Savalas really LIVE in a hotel ??

  • Yes, he did. Evidently all his life, and his family lived there, too. He never owned a home in Hollywood. The Sheraton Universal was his home as he describes. They even named the Sports Bar there after him. Don't know if it's still there. But his was in 1991. An unusual existence but he explains why he loved it in this interview and also in Part 2, which is also now visible on this Channel.

  • Please clear something up for me if you don't mind ?? The answer with never change my opinion on him because i will always view him as being nothing less than awesome !!

Why do so many people (on 'You Tube') accuse Telly of being (secretly) homosexual and living a parallel family life ??

  • I guess it would be like living in a community with amenities, except you'd get more than a swimming pool and tennis court.

  • I always thought that Telly was cool..

  • He was, blaquestrength, he was. He is missed. He gave me a great, long (20 mins.) interview. As you can see, we had to do a Part One, which this is and also a Part Two, for YouTube, where you can't go over 10 mins in length. This was a thrilling moment for me and my crew.

  • @StephenHoltShow a great interview and what a nice man to talk to! thanks for this!

  • Sleestack, thanks! Part Two of Telly is now up!

  • Thanks for this Stephen, Telly was much loved over here in the UK.

  • cool!
