Of all the youtube videos of people showcasing their collections, this is my favorite. Your records are not always in first pressings in Mint Condition (like that lame elvis45s dude whined about), but you value the music, explore some of the greatest bands in all history and really use and enjoy them. Theres a fine line between music collecting for the love and just for elitist materalism. You love classic music - elvis45 is just a pompous collector of expensive antiques. Thanks for sharing!

@dgsongoftheday I hate seeing videos of peoples collections filled with 100's of records worth of old and expensive shit they probably don't even like. I have old and modern and music but mainly a bunch of favorite electronic genre releases of mine. I know the materialistic classical elitist morons will frown over my collection but at least I actually love what I have. Still small but grows a little more every month, oh wait maybe that's because I don't just horde crap like 90% of them.

Hey Jace. I think maybe you'll dig what I'm doing with The Daily Vinyl. I've been filming my turntable in random places (and sometimes doing random things.). I've featured The Stones, The Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, collaborations with an art group in Nashville using an original pressing of The White Album, etc. I've made 40 videos so far. Some people love it. Some think its rubbish. OH well. All I can do is what I love and maybe some others will enjoy it too. I'd love to know what you think.

Cool collection man. I have 1,167 vinyls right now (both albums, singles, and duplicates which means I own more individual pieces of vinyl than that number). Keep collecting. Who knows? Maybe you can start DJing with a collection that large.

I'm 20 years old and started collecting records when i was 16 years old. I have probably 300 records in my collection. My favorite record that i got is probably Traffic's On The Road live album or Lou Reed's Rock 'n' Roll Animal.
