this looks like it could be a useful tool,,,but how/when can I access it? It is just in "tease" mode right now...offering something which apparently isn't available...giving me the appearance that the developers just want to see if there is enough interest to actually developed the program and get an idea of how much to charge. Isn't that called fraud?
@dwyann11 No, its not fraud. That's how businesses work all the time. You don't build a product for a year without telling anyone, to only find out no one will use it.
Lovely video... but would definitely like *access* to see if it's something I'd use. Despite using FB/e-mail invites, providing a video of a clickthrough process for it, sample member-generated data, etc... would be great.

I Recommended Visual.ly on fb as per d process, n got a mail saying "thanks for signing up", bt still cant get access to the site. Why is it so? Does anybody know...?
About the spam, I don't think so because I signed up about a month ago and haven't gotten anything suspicious in my inbox, also, this video is extremely well done, I don't think spammers would go to all that trouble, just sayin...

Interesting. I dig the premise, but this video is way too flashy for me. I would have immediately signed up had it looked more dry and professional, and less marketey.
@JewTubeUsername The whole point of this company is to many fresh, attention-grabbing infographics that are both clean and energized... just like this video. They leave dry to Microsoft.
Looks like an ad agency made this cutesy "creative" video - that doesn't really show the benefits to me. Just get to the damn point and show me the benefits... I don't need the techno soundtrack and cutesy visuals.

I haven't been this excited about something on the Internet since Myspace first came around (and was actually cool).
Personally, I'm a writer and a creative that simply lacks all the Adobe Creative suite experience to make the infographics manifest in the real world, so I see myself being addicted already.
I want to give you all of my money. Please give me an opportunity to pay you for whatever the hell this thing is supposed to be, I don't want anything for free, I don't want to exchange my time for a service that is useful or productive in any way, just take my money and know that I love you.
Worst "'social spammer technic ever" give me free advertising and all your your contacts/friends email and i let u know waht a ll give to you, not now, but i ll... just horrible.
The video is awesome! But then u try to use it, explore. But sorry. U cant. You have to wait some friends to accept that kind of email that everybody hates "Heyyy join me to the hell!". Thats not smart. We have 387145 new sites everyday to check. You got everybodys attention and lost it. And u got everybody angry.
How about a data/visual exchange for non-profits? We've got stacks of data that someone could have lots of fun with, but with limited commercial return likely it will never see the light of day as beautiful infographics.
this sounds nice, but whole system "invite 3 friends, than we will show you something" is quite suspicious. I tend to think that this is just another way for spammers to get some e-mails. Just saying.
I like the idea, I have nothing wrong with that. But if you really want to push the envelope, why not give us a tool to combine our ideas with your visual expertise? I'd pay for that.
Sometimes infographics are usuless; although it is a nice concept — like the coffe example. I believe that data visualization fits more in what we should look after, like Hans Rosling talks.

I'm intrigued but would like to know how Visual.ly will appeal to me as an educator and blogger, specifically. Is this just for business owners?
CarbaraB5911 9 months ago 2
@CarbaraB5911 I agree, as an educator I could see this being used to teach and to organize data.
