Im trying to learn how to play this song and your video really helped. I havent heard it in years and now that Im starting to learn guitar, Im trying to teach myself this song. The version I have is a bit different from yours but yours is still very pretty. Great job! Keep on praising and rocking out!
@ChoirGurl09 this song was modified just a little because I use it as part of a beginner guitar course that I teach the youth and adults at our church. I needed a song that used the Em to C chord change and this has more of a Jeff Deyo feel to it.
@KinpatsuBoy - For this example I am using down strums mixed with a down, down, up, down strum pattern. So normally when I teach this to our youth we start with all down strums and then we add in the down, down, up, down pattern. You can also use all down strums while muting the strings to get a good sound.
I am planning to redo all of these videos soon, I just ran out of time and as soon as I redo the class I give to our youth I will redo these and repost them.
actually this song is placed in A minor.....not in E minor....if you have any doubt...please sing in E minor...that will be not comfort
