Zeppelin obviously had the artistic ability to write the song, and they are an excellent band, but I think this cover is put together better. I like the guitar solo, and I especially like the ending when Jeff actually says 'thank you' and all that. Very good cover, beats the original in my opinion.

I'm going to have to disagree with you, wholeheartedly! I do enjoy my share of Tesla songs, but not in this case! This version comes off as pretentious, more than thankful. The Led Zeppelin version had much more emotion behind it.

This is a song that should not be played in order to "Thank the fans" but to thank your spouse and loved ones, because where else would we be without them in our lives?

Imho: The lead guitar sounded more like "Pure Praire League" or "Marshall Tucker" than anything Jimmy Page ever played.

"The Faces" were talking about doing a reunion, but Rod Stewart won't do it. The singer of Tesla may fit well into that slot w/ that cool raspy voice & personality he has.

This is without any argument the best cover of this song that's ever been done. The guy singing sounds almost like Robert Plant, & until I saw this video, I even thought they might have borrowed Jimmy Page's guitar. It's the closest to a cover that could fool you into thinking that you're listening to the original artist since Todd Rundgren did Good Vibrations.

When I stumbled on this video this summer I was obsessed with it and through it rediscovered one of the great bands this country ever prodoced. Collectively , tesla is the top band around , and has been for the last 20 or more. let me explain why... Tesla is only as good as the sum of their parts. No band member is not is not as good without each other , and that is the rarist thing you can find in this world. Jeff Keith said once that they wrote from the heart because they would be doing this for years to come. ( nobody writes from the heart anymore) . ROCK ON. Tesla is heart ...and the greatest rock band still to date.

I've always been a Led Zeppelin fan and Thank You from their 2nd album has been an all time favorite. The words of the song are very powerful and have deep meaning which is one of the reasons I dedicated it to Cindy a long time ago.

Tesla brings this song to a whole new level and in my opinion far exceed the original done by Led Zeppelin.......
