I have this case. i7 2600k 3.4ghz, 8gb 1333mhz ram, Asus DCu2 gtx 570 1280mb, Asus P8p67-m Pro, 128gb SSD, OCZ Modxtream Pro 600watt, 4x500gb, Hyper 212+ cpu cooler.
The ssd mounts under the 3.5" space where this guy in the review has a SD card reader. i put an extra 500gb there instead of SD card. This case it marvelous.
Cons:
-Not for giant coolers, hyper 212+ fits precisely
-92mm fan on back, if u go H2O cooling, u would need to mount on top.
Yeah I got this case a few days ago its awesome. he did miss that there is a mount for a ssd under the top 3.5 slot above the 140mm fan it just clicks under.
I got this as my first PC build and I LOVE IT. It was a breeze putting in the motherboard and the fans keep the whole thing really, really cool. I think my cpu needs a sweater it's so ventilated :). Right now I have one Nvidea card but at some point I'm gonna switch to crossfire because of all the fans. This thing is indeed small compared to a lot of Mid-Tower cases, as it is mATX. With the right motherboard, though, this thing easily stands up to some full towers I've seen in terms of cooling
@thatghillyguy Additionally, you can apparently upgrade it to use water-cooling. I'm not interested or sure how to do that because the 4 fans already installed keep it really cool.
Definitely. it`s compact size makes it easier to move around and I have a lot in this case from my larger previous one. And it looks impressive as well. Of course, how heavy it is depends a bit on how much you have in it too.
Strange, I thought all custom cases were this size. When I bought my first iCute case I thought it was the biggest you could get. Now I realise, that all the time I`ve only had a micro atx case.
That Dragon Slayer is a micro?
Makes me wonder just how big the bigger cases are.
@maxnanabas09 Awesome I love this case I build a phenom rig with a GTX 465 into it I am very impressed I think I will be actually buying these for future builds in my shop
@vearheart42 I didnt say it was impossible to hide cables. No I havent used one your right, but from what Ive seen this case is better and I said it didnt come WITH as many fans. Also I like the style alot better too, the Vulcan is really ugly to me, but thats just my opinion.
Hey, do you think this case can fit ATI 5850 video card? How many 3.5" bays are there? I saw only one.

How is the air ventilation for this case? and it can only fit a micro ATX motherboard not a normal ATX right?

maybe a stupid question.. but do you need a matx power supply or is the power supply the same size as a regular (atx) power supply?
Flamable3000 10 months ago
@Flamable3000 the power supply is the same physical size. matx specifies the size of the motherboard.

Lots of nice features and GREAT look. But I dont like how they positioned the drive bays. I also like the USB 3.0 built right in to the case.

Freerideboy2007 1 year ago
Got it. Good quality case. Very tight, efficent design. Obviously, the makers thought a lot about everything when making this.

This is the best mATX case out right now in my opinion... I just want to buy a mATX motherboard and parts stick them in this and put a handle on it.

@TheRomanCandle790 Have you seen the Vulcan?
vearheart42 1 year ago
@vearheart42 Yeah, but it doesnt have nearly as many fans or features... You cant hide cables nearly as well too.
TheRomanCandle790 1 year ago
@TheRomanCandle790 Have you used one? Cause you can hide cables easily, the left side is bulged out like on the HAF series.
And it can take as many fans as this and it has 2 top mounted 120mm. .
