What is the alloy of your frame and suspension arm tubes?....I'd want either Reynold's 531 nickle moly or one of the chrome moly's....historical accuracy be damed!!
The frame and suspension parts are mild steel tubing mostly round and some rectangular that have been bronze welded together. (That's brazing to us Yanks!) Pretty sturdy if they have held up this long.

Yes, it is fun to be on track with them but you have to keep a close eye on your mirrors. Most of the guys are pretty cool though and give you room.
