you got the idea man. You're more just turning and pushing back. what you need to do is pick you're knee up higher and actually rotate the foot you're sliding. the key is getting that rotation in there to give the effect. shift your weight more too, it'll make the sliding foot look more like it's "gliding"

u should try and teach the strait glide instead of the circle glid cuz the circle glide is the natural movement wen u do that, so its real easy, and a strait glide is a lil bit harder and it covers more area than just practically staying in one spot.

actually ppl, his circle glide explanation and the idea behind it is the most accurate one on youtubes. seriously saying. The rest of the videos dont even look like circle glide and they do it wrongly. This guy on the vid may not have that fluidity on the move but theoretically he correctly shows the basic movement for circle glide

that's the basic glide there's nothing wrong with it. Michael always did it sideways though I've never seen it where it turned fully around he mixed in a lot of circle slides and moonwalks too but for someone just learning that's a good first step.
