i totally agree with you :)

after hurricane katrina i gave money to someone who worked for my company but lived near the area effected and she was able to buy bottled water etc and her only overhead was gas so it did feel like i was doing something very specific!

Hey! Thanks for this amazing response. You make a good point - a lot of money does get spent on overhead. I've seen some NGOs stay at five star hotels on donation/aid money (some - not all of course). It can be pretty sad how much our money doesn't reach its final destination. Even with this PayPal setup - I can't stop PayPal or my bank from taking their various cuts :-(
