Hey I have a quick question. Im not sure if you could help me with this but Im a film student looking to shoot part of a scene for a production Im directing somewhere in downtown hamilton. We're a very small crew and we don't need to lock down an area. We're also only going to shoot for a few hours creating no obstructions. Do you think we will need any permits from the city to legally shoot? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Boiled felt and thick smears of bent notes coat the throat as you ascend the swaybacked stairs above the grub-shop on an Htown sidestreet, cold fingers do the scissors snip above the blotto scalps of yesterday's punk heroes, burnt-toast debutantes and reamed, pleated gadabouts with two flat tires and ventilated chastity...tat needle reads the scabs and scales, arm hairs tingle from the bus breeze and the cough from the crimped-up alley; dawn.
I worked on this set with IATSE. It took us a long time to set up. The area was bare. Hamilton does not look like this, there is only one real building in this. the dumped garbage over, and rustic buildings ....
