@ThePipingPapist I have to agree w you! I've been on Flim since I was in high school when I first heard him w Allan Holdsworth. He's in a class by himself; as is Bill Berg! Man, it's nice to hear this music.
My uncle gave me a tape copy of their first album about 20 years ago, and I recently came upon it again. This was my favorite song off of the album. Sad to see that their is no digital version available, but at least we have this to listen to!
Beautiful takes me back in time. Please tell me what album is this I know it is from the 80's. I would like have this complete album where can I get it thanks.
"Their early days included playing at the Longhorn Bar in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the late 1970s. It was around this time that 3M was experimenting with digital sound recordings, and used Flim & the BB's to test their machine. Their first album, which was self-titled, was released by Sound 80 studios in 1978. However, since the machine that reads the master tape was dismantled, there is currently no way to re-issue their first album."
I saw these guys live in '88. Wouldn't be awsome for them to get togther and jam again. Their music style is still one of a kind after 30 years !!!
