ha, they got these built into the batery now, well some of the coper tops have it, its where you put your thumb on one end and your index on the other and a little meter on the side will rise and tell you how much power is left

I remember these...if you held your fingers on them too long the batteries got REALLY HOT. found that out the hard way when I was little lol.
