i sont even use my ssd for proper storage (not even user data) so i only for the OS and my most used programs. All my user data (documents desktop and so on) are on a HDD. I guess that should increase my SSD's life by quite a bit..

Proof? read ANY online vendor that sells OCZ agility, agility 2, agility 3, and half of the rest of their line up even today's sata III.

Also-many drives are overprovisioned, meaning extra hidden storage to help with G.C.

The cheapest 5400rpm 2tb are a minimum of 200dollars...up to 400dollars for high end 7200 models. Now is the time for SSD shine. You get amazing performance for much closer to HDD price..due to the shortage of HDD which is not affect SSD...which is not expected to change till mid/late 2012.
