@sadplateofbacon That China one was a Soyuz rocket carrying a Meridian satellite launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome. The UFO that shut down the airport was a RADAR sighting... but that wasn't exciting enough for Chinese media :D I'm in Vegas and we can see evening launches from Vandenburg over 400 miles away

Just a elementary question about you odd editing: Why go through the whole trouble of separating your audio track from the video track... making a cut in the video only... and then additionally merging them together as one track? Seems a bit like an awful waste of time! The "cricket soundtrack" isn't cut where the video is spliced. Odd to do all that work... when it's FAR easier to simply cut the raw video with the audio... and splice-to-merge? Just to keep a uniform cricket track? Odd really.

well, no it doesn't REALLY explain the China incident, because it doesn't make logical sense that the Chinese government, or any government for that matter, would test a ROCKET in plain ol' civilian territory, unannounced, at an AIRPORT, of all places, where the chaos and destruction of an accident is unimaginable. Even though the tail looks a bit different the "UFO" was probably some type of similar missile. A lot of the shape and distance of the tail could depend on the weather and stuff...

Incredible. I watch this video in response to someone identifying the China UFO video as a Minotaur Rocket which I belive that is indeed what it is in the video. But to my astonishment there appears to be a few UFO's in this video. Watch beginning at 3:23 you can clearly watch the ufo quickly veer off at about 3:28.

It was the Sony tele-adapter for the VX-2000 and I don't remember the magnification or the model number. I think it was 1.6x. I also used the cameras digital zoom a couple of times.

@armymatt83 My guess is that its so high up that the light from the sun is illuminating it. It is twilight, just after the sun sat down and the sky here was dark, a few miles over its not so dark and a good bit more you cuold still see the sun. So thats just my theory =)
