  • (continued) badfish, slightly stoopid, too rude, etc. putting out this exact record over and over. to be fair, i like all those bands i listed. but there is a formula here, and it's become a little old....it goes "reggae song, straight punk song, ska song, ska to punk song, 1 acoustic track". when 40 ounces hit, nobody had done it. i am over my initial shock and hurt about this band. now i feel like, if you are gonna say that you're sublime, prove it. be innovative, dangerous, important.

  • @ashcan6

One giant hole in your theory, badfish is a song not a band you stupid shit.

  • @TheUltimateBordom Badfish is a band. theyre a sublime tribute band

  • @TheUltimateBordom badfish is a band that even has tim woo the brass player for long beach dub all stars. who's the stupid shit now? BOOM. lmao

  • @ashcan6 Get the fuck over yourself...jesus christ! This is sublime with rome...and they are pretty badass. DONT LISTEN TO IT IF YOU DONT LIKE IT!!! THANKS!!!

  • @ScottyDBro what a mature and well thought out response.

  • @ashcan6 i can tell you are extremely intelligent.

  • @ashcan6 agreed dude

  • (continued) for the kids reading this: i'm not "hatin". i'm a 32 year old fan that liked the original sublime when brad was still alive. my 40 ounces shirt is ripped, sweat yellow, and about 16 years old. i think sublime with rome is a nice little tribute thing, and it's cool that the kids will be able to go and see "sublime". what i really wish, to tell the truth, is that these guys would really pick up where they left off and do some new experimental, interesting music. we now have pepper

  • (continued) when brad was around, they were pushing the envelope. caress me down, what i got, and summertime were something new. and the unreleased songs "at it again" and "angelo" were something new, too. they were looking at playing electronic dancehall with live instruments, showing a big influence from stuff like born jamericans and king yellowman. brad is gone, and can't be replaced. but the other guys seem to have forgotten the musically ground that they were breaking into with brad.

  • (continued) but that's the problem. this is being sold to us as sublime, as the sequel to the legendary self-titled record. i feel kind of like i am watching star wars episode 1...like, how can you say this is the sequel to santeria? to what i got? to stp?? this stuff is fairly decent reggae rock. i think maybe the biggest problem is that "sublime" keeps doing the exact same thing now. they have 16 note reggae songs, the token punk song on there, then a ska song or two.

  • like raleigh sakers said, here is the deal: ok, i will be fair. rome seems like a nice kid. he has a nice bubblegum voice and can play pretty well. these songs are not bad. if i heard them, and found that they were from some new band, i might pick up the disc. i would think, that's a nice little sublime wannabe act. i like those.

  • i love sublime with rome!...first cd i ever remembered everysingle word to!!!

  • sorry this song is terrible. boring and emotionless just like rome. say what you want, his music still sucks

  • @Mrnmrssugar actually brads mom, no wife

  • if you keep lookng at sublime with rome as SUBLIME then its never going to compare, you need to look at them as a new band cause they are, but still sublime

  • fuck brad nowell that pos drug using hippie

  • @pr0tege11 This is the most rebellious comment I've ever seen. I love you. (I'm a brad fan btw)

  • @DJFucc1 Ahahahahahaha yeah gotta agree that was good shit Brad fan to :)

  • well, seeing as the other 2 surviving members of sublime are still part of the band, and so many other bands have lost their vox/guitar players and yet kept the full band name, i fail to see the problem here. they still respected brads family and added WITH ROME to the title so quit moaning about it n enjoy

  • @DarthEcoli they added with Rome cos a judge wouldn't let them use "Sublime"...they tried....no respect. Just sayin..

  • His voice isnt bradleys but it fits with the music. As an old school sublime fan id say it meets my approval=D. You just kinda have to look at it as another band... I think they should rename the band really but thats just an opinion.(dont kill me)

  • this is kwel nice song but Sublime w Rome is bout loving chicks

  • If you ever seen them live with Rome , you would know that Rome is holding it down.. he gave a shout out to Brad . Brad and Rome are two different ppl . these are two different bands now.. If you thought the album was gonna be like the other albums . you were tripping.. and ppl are just putting it on Rome .. wake up man they write as a band ..

  • @northbear05 wonderful, i wish i can see em play some day, i love sublime with rome, bradley will never be again, and rome gets to make music with bud n eric, fukcin go him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the like/dislike bar is a lit doobie thanks haters

  • This is the only song I like in the album.

  • Best song on the album, still sucks though, I'm very disappointed in Rome.

  • fuck haters... brads dead soFUCK YOU

  • So as a non Bias Douchebag, this is a great punk song much like "New Thrash" was on 40oz. You guys have seriously got to grow up and look at things realistically. The Surviving members of sublime embraced Rome enough to make music with him, how can you lie and say that you wouldn't do it to. He's not trying to be brad, or live up to his shoes, let him do his thing, He probably loves brad just as much as any of us true fans do. Grow up.

  • @MustBeEnVy Word man. Brad would be proud. As a totally bias douchebag I can say I am also proud. I was scared of this whole situation, but then I saw Sublime w/ Rome live and knew they found a good frontman. The cd just confirmed it. Rome is an amazing guitarist. His lyrics aren't the best, but I think he has a good voice with awesome cadence. Bud and Eric have also improved in the years. All in all, Sublime w/ Rome = win.

  • this is the best comment i have ever seen. this should be how sublime fans see rome, he's got a good voice and they're makin some goood music omg i love "can you feel it" <3

  • @bigorsdog lol nice fail troll,I have when you die bradley finds you kicks your ass then says hey man why didn't you support rome?

  • Holy fucking shit.

  • lol, bad brains...

  • I agree with the reviews. rome should stay away from punk, unless there's some emotion in it. This song is someone singing who can't, or just isn't trying hard enough. the reggae stuff's not too bad tho, I'll give em that

  • wow, you can hear how he likes badbrains jus as much as brad :P

  • fuck rome.

  • @danbauermusic fuck u cum eater

  • thanks for uploading, amazing song!
