There are not many songs that really inspire me with happiness and positivity but this would be one of the few that do. They all look like goofy dudes and were surely on some kind of drugs,but they really know how to work the audience..look at them going off.. so much joy and smiling faces..they had that element of synth pop that existed at the time combined with with a general positive rock feel.I have relatives in Canada-sounds like an awesome place to be -more beer drinkin and less politics

They are from Canada, the name Ivan Doroschuck is not 'cool' or 'hip'(lead guy), they had a typecast hit song (safety dance) that labeled them as one hit wonders...

I hate the music promotion system we had, bands like this fail to get promoted like they should.

3 albums and more coll, dancable tunes than in any six of other 80's pop bands, includind ones like duran duran.

Ivan's vocals are a little raw and dark, a little too lternative for the 80's pop crowd, but freaking awesome anyway!
