@vLyNxProductionz You are correct. I wasn't too impressed after having it for a while. I still have it but i just got a MacBook Pro 17". LOVE it, and I definitely suggest it to anyone who does graphic art, movies, music, etc.

@praizerskater This one was from Best Buy. It happened to be a gift, so I'm not entirely sure on the price. I believe, at the time, it was around $1,500-1,700.

@SalsaG93 since i didnt get any paperwork with it, i cant say for sure.. I do know one of the sites I quickly googled said their endurance tests clocked it at roughly 3 hours (2:47), which was 46 minutes higher than the average.

@dudebro27 No. I was a little freaked when I saw it only came with paperwork - no restore discs, etc. So I called up to ask, and several different reps said that it's normal. Even though the sticker for the OEM is on the laptop itself, I'd still like to have discs for the drivers, OS, etc.

@kindredjedi cool thanx, are you having any issues with gaming? if u do game, is the frame rate bad for you? Mine is kinda choppy when i try and play Battlefield Bad Company 2 and it shouldnt be because of the good specs. and i have the latest graphics driver installed

@dudebro27 Not really. Everything runs smoothly, but then again I haven't tried anything like Black Ops, BC2, etc. Everything else I play, even WoW, runs great on max settings.

@kindredjedi Yea sounds like it...but wow no restore disc..not even a flash drive. This is an expensive system and they can't even spend a few pennies to give u the disc when they make it smh u know thats wack aha

@xDWOOx724x I agree with you 100% there. I'm half-tempted to call HP directly and ask them if this truly is standard practice, or if I was just being told a story by the reps. Now, when I got the laptop, it already had everything installed on it and had the drive partitioned for backup and all that, but still... I'm a huge fan of having the actual discs in case there needs to be a total wipe and reinstall of the OS on the drive. If I find anything else out, I'll keep ya posted!
