@PrinceBerzelius your out of luck :/ anything that was "Spirit'ed" won't work, since spirit was an OS exploit, rather a bootrom exploit. the problem is, there's an unlock for the baseband that comes with iOS 4.0, but there's no jailbreak to get to it. if you rely on a carrier unlock, you can restore to 3.1.3 via Saurik's server, jailbreak with Spirit again, and then install ultrasn0w

@speedy47800 I used the guide that I found on ihackintosh. If you're on a newer Windows OS (Vista, 7) you're gonna have to jump through some hoops to get Recboot to work. I went back after I realized it was the 3G that was jailbroken for iOS 4 and not the 3GS.
