okoay the painting is good but seriously, her face doesnt look realistic. youre really good with the shading and all but her features arent human-like. its nice but you should try something more lifelike to get a better response

Hi, thank you for your comment. It is not suppose to look realistic, it's a naive painting but I am going to start making more realistic ones. I draw portraits too but I never tried to paint a portrait.

Thanks! When I started painting I bought a book called "Watercolor & Acrylic painting materials" by Walter Foster then I bought all kinds of Acrylics brands and I liked Golden very much. "The Artist's Magazine"artistsmagazine dot com is good too. The library could be a great place to find books. I didn't go online to read about painting so I don't have any links.

If you want specific information about something just send me a message. What kind of media would you like to use for your paintings?
