  • @crosseyxpoweruk it's a bit sexist to suggest that it must be a man driving just because he's doing an awesome job...lol

  • ooooohhhh i say u are a vulgar young man aren't you!

  • Is this the 200hp version? or the 160?

  • @94EglVisionTSI it's the 200hp version. They never sold the 160 version in the uk.

  • @RoverSD1V8 ok makes sense, definitely faster than our 166hp versions in the states.

  • thats really fast for a 2.4 L

  • finally, someone who can shift!

  • Sounds good

  • why didnt you leave the stock airbox inside? isnt it better since the air is passing through the resonator?

  • nice accord wid nice shiftingz...

  • Anybody know how to drop the RPM that the VTEC kicks in? Really want it at 5K instead of 6.

  • @RoverSD1V8

thats the only downer about a vtec no power around town :(

  • @jalalpurjattan You can improve that by fitting a performance filter element inside the standard/stock resonator/airbox.

  • @jalalpurjattan Will that give better pull at lower revs?

  • Nice one, you seem to be doing the shifting fine, as opposed to the AT in that model - it's kinda clumsy :) I'd also prefer MT. Great beast :)

  • nice shifting dude

  • How much horsepower

  • @jsnevels2 It's supposed to be producing 190BHP and 162.3 lbs/ft torque. 0-60 time is around 7 seconds stock. Top speed is 140mph.

  • @RoverSD1V8 Nice

  • @RoverSD1V8 Hi just about to get one- type S. From the vid it seems quite hard to get the engine into Vtech band and keep it in there to make the most of the extra bhp, any driving tips?

  • @maxmadx This engine only switches over at around 6000RPM, but the engine starts to make a lot more power from around 4000RPM. If you keep the RPM about 4k that should help you get around quickly. One important thing to think about, is that the kind of air filter in this video will only add power at high RPM and will loose torque lower in the rev range. For best overall performance, fit a performance filter inside the original airbox. I just like the noise!

  • @maxmadx Not hard at all man this is Honda we are talking about. If you can shift good, the power bands stay very even.

  • @RoverSD1V8 sorry also, what does the intake do for the 0-62? cheers steve

  • @maxmadx On a cold day when you get denser I can get it to 60 in 6.8 seconds. Standard it's closer to 8 secs.

  • @1989kooty

its 6 spd because over there the accord is our TSX

  • action at 4.5k rpm

  • Nice ride man. Even though you guys don't get the V6 over there atleast you get our TSX 2.4L 6MT with 200HP. Here for our 4cyl we got the 2.4L 166HP 5MT or 5AT.
