There are very specific tests that each breed should have. Boxers, for example, are particularly prone to heart problems and hip dysplasia. For this reason, boxers should see a cardiologist and have hip x-rays before being bred. The cardiologist will do an EKG and then place a holter monitor on the dog

Okay soo.... I've got two boxers, one has a docked tail and the other hasn't. The one that hasn't got the docked tail constantly hits it against the wall causing it to split (bleed), (as you can see in other boxer dog videos they love to wag their tail). In the long run it is extremely beneficial for the dogs own well being for them to have their tail docked. I can understand that to some people this can seem inhumane, but I see inhumane is the cropping of boxer's ears, purely for the look.

In England it's Illegal to crop Bulldog's ears, and their tails.. I think you should crop Male Ears when they're atleast 5 weeks old, I'd prefer without them cropped aswell.

I'm alright with the ears, let them be natural, but the tail, I wouldn't take a risk Whatever ther eason, Ugly or fragile, here it has to be cut off before the continue growing because people fear it might get damaged. yeah and I've been to the uk and seen alot of Boxer's without cropped tails. i despise cropped ears, but tails as I said, I don't want a damaged tail. And its not considered mutilation here, its considered an option and as a safety.
