Also I get the impression people dont realise what is involved in track designing.

You dont just scribble down lines on a napkin because it looks good or has heaps of fast corners. There are much more factors to be considered.

I think this track will be fine. Especially in future when we get turbos and KERS.

As of September 4, 2010, the seat has only the grand stands.

But, in the seat, only around 30% are installed.

The pavement of the truck is not over.

The preparations for interior decoration construction are not considered to be the VIP room, too.

In the Run off area, water pipe construction is going now.

I take four hours, and it is forced to going to the track depending on a spectator by a hotel of Seoul.

By the tour for this race by the travel agency, there is much setting to purchase the ticket of the race locally now.

The reason is because there is not the refund of the ticket when Korea GP was called off.

And important concern.

It is a track built with Korean national budget, but a Korean and the Korean car manufacturer are not interested in this race at all.

As you might know, it isn't possible to make Spa on a flat ground. And FIA hasn't allowed too much elevation changes, so it leaves so little to do for the designer.

But the track looks quite nice, especially between turns 6 and 10. I'd rank this in the top of Tilke designed circuits.

Korean most are not interested in motor sports.

Therefore the Korean car manufacturer is negative against race activity, too.

This circuit was made as a resort such as Monaco.

The main purpose of this circuit is a sightseeing income not a race.

Korea is going to collect a construction fund of Truck only by holding of the F1.

The problem is that the circuit is still under construction. I don't think Koreans can hold this event at the end of October. I know Koreans are extremely optimistic. I wonder why Koreans don't worry about the expense of contract violation in case it won't be held on time.

@NoNoSpice it's nearly guaranteed that korean GP will be held, construction is going smoothly and there has been a lot of press concerning the gp, nobody is worried that it wouldn't happen. I have a friend that is going to volunteer there during the weekend of the GP.

May be good, like the city in the infield and counter-clockwise. Looks like not too much elevation (if any), that adds character. Add Algarve to the calendar, scrap European GP. A1 Ring, Bahrain isn't too great, night race at Qatar would be more exciting, France, USGP, Laguna has garages and is good enough for MotoGP, Argentina, Mexico, Kylami. So many good tracks yet these crap new ones keep popping up on the calendar.

Part of F1's problem is the cars, but part is the circuits they race on.

because bernie ecclestone and hermann tilke are in bed with each other. every new track that comes about is another boring old herman tilke track. if you looked at all of the simple outlines of the f1 seasons' tracks, it is amazing how easy it is to spot the ones Tilke designed.

It's about money and how much Bernie E. can get from the venues. The British GP has been on the calendar for ages but it's in danger because it's old and doesn't bring enough revenue/tv profits, etc.

Imola is possibly one of my favourite tracks of all time, even better than Monza and Spa. I just like Imola's complete package.

if i have to say something good about this circuit, it doesnt fall into the same trap as those new tracks such as yas marina, where there are soo many short straights which reduce alot of overtaking...and it complies to what christian horners and other f1 technical directors said about proper race track design

by the way, the best proof of how they are intherested in the circuits is that the preview first of all shows the paddock, the grades, the pitlane, conference rooms, vip places etc... and then, at the end, a quick show of the discusting track... so, the car manufacturers will have to effort in make cars that accelerate and brake well and quicky, and nobother in be good in turns... thanks mosley!!! Very static. A circuit designed for F1 and thus without any character. Very stop-and-go. I would like to see some smooth lines instead of circuits with these kind of those sharp turns as the only possibilities to overtake. However, the Tilke-tracks are just these static general crappy tracks. It's really unfortunate that they don't at least use different circuitdesigners, so that the different circuits are designed with different mindsets and offer really a different race for the viewers.
