  • can anyone smart enough help me? I created 2 mono tracks.. recorded 2 different sets of acoustic.. i panned them L and R.. and it works fine listening to it in my head phones.. but when i listen to the song on my monitor speakers.. its not working? the sound is there in both speakers, but when i pan something Right... it dissapears in the right speaker? but when i pan them both left.. the right speaker is working.. so its not like the speaker is dead.. what the heck do i DO!!!

  • @skateurself most likely its phase canceling itself. Rerecord it and try to make sure the mics are evenly spaced from the sound source. Look up X/Y recording or the 3:1 rule for more info. Record a little and listen back, make adjustments as you go.

  • I love tutorials where the very reason for the tutorial is completely unusable. Case in point, how to record sound and there's no sound to hear.

  • Can you just plug in an acoustic guitar pickup to a USB interface?

  • Good point about the chair. My computer seat squeaks like a mouse. SM58 = awesome mic but not the way to go for acoustics. I lost interest when the sound cut out.

  • dude- you dont have a sound- did you forget to hit record. LOL-

  • Same had sounds prob merry christmas !!!

  • merry christmas

  • Hilarious!

  • What happened to the sound?

  • Why would you use a 58 to record acoustic guitar

  • how much is that fostex mic ...?

  • Total FAIL

  • this is fucking gay without sound dipshits!

  • ...this video would be great if the sound problems were corrected.

  • yeah :(

  • I didn't hear any sound when you were recording? Or in the recap?
